My 6 month old told me it’s great!
My 6 month old told me that this is his favourite cup.Well he didn’t tell me as he can’t speak, but he does always drink from it.When I say drink from it I actually mean throw it on the floor and then cry.Maybe he hates this cup.

Double the price in Tesco
These cups are great but they are only £1.50 each in Tesco!

Good cups but not as durable as I hoped
These little cups seem to be fairly ubiquitous at my son's nursery, they are very easy for little mouths. We have been using it since about 10 months and he likes them. My only complaint is that for some reason the lids, which originally were quite flexible, seem to have gone hard and are now quite difficult to get off to wash them. We only wash them by hand in the sink so not due to dishwasher. Makes it a real faff to get them apart, I end up covering myself & the kitchen in water every time. Also my sons little baby teeth have really marked the spouts in only a couple of months.

Ideal first cup
These are absolutely brilliant. I bought a different brand with a soft silicon spout for my baby's first cup but they leaked badly when he dropped them (the lid became dislodged) and he chewed through the spout as soon as his teeth appeared. I replaced them with these cups and he got to grips with them much quicker than the other ones and gets excited when he sees it coming (even though I only ever put water in there!). He seems happy with the hard spout and can't chew through it. The lids are tough to remove but never come loose when he drops the cup. They go in the dishwasher to clean but I think that bits of food could get stuck in the spout so I rinse them out by hand too before they go in the dishwasher.

Great, but hard to take the lid off
Bought these when we were introducing water to my 6 month old. He didn't take well to it at first, but after perseverance he drinks very easily from it now. Only drawback we have found is opening the lid. It was fine at first, but not sure what's happened over the months. The lid is shut so tight it's a herculean task to try and take it off for washing. When we try to remove it we end up getting water all over the kitchen and ourselves. We hand wash it in the sink, so not sure what could have happened.

Not that easy to use or open
These beakers have brilliant reviews but my son doesn’t find them that easy to drink out of and they are nearly impossible to open when he has finished. I know this is a good gesture as it stops the water going everywhere when he drops it in the floor but the lid is so stiff to remove that I put water everywhere when trying to open it! It is ‘free flowing’ but you do have to use some suction to get the water out easily. I am not that pleased with these and confused why it is rated so highly!

Best first cup - baby approves
As a new parent the range of cup choices out there can be a bit daunting. For us the best feature is the free flow (a closer match to drinking from a “grown up” cup) which we hope will make the transition a bit easier eventually. He held these cups almost as soon as he was given them - we worried that free flow meant turning our floor into a continuous river but actually not that much pours out and we quite like seeing him pouring a little bit as he figures out how everything works. We ended up buying a few more of these cups as our little boy is a fan!

Loved so much we needed backups
Perfect cups for my 2 year old. We accidentally left his original at grandmas house so had to purchase some back ups! The lid is super secure and doesn’t dribble out too much if knocked over. The handles are perfect size for his little hands and the amount of water is just enough not to appear too heavy when running around the house with it. Only down side is the flippy nozzle can be a nightmare to clean if food gets jammed in there. Worth the struggle though.
