Good points: clear crisp sound, plenty of power, looks good,takes audio jack and USB. Good value for money. Sounded great with my ipod, laptop and TV. I liked the 3D sound - which is optional. Negatives: cables not very long - OK for laptop/ desktop. No separate bass control. Requires mains power. Overall good quality and good value for money.

The passive speaker was clear, but the active speaker has a terrible hissy crackling from it, which completely ruined the quality of the sound. Stay away from these. Look for some H50BT by MicroLab, even 2nd hand will be better than these. The quality is superb.

Just received these speakers and have to say I'm very impressed. Even before opening the box I was pleasantly surprised how heavy it was. These speakers are very nice looking, have a quality feel and definitely don't disappoint when you listen to them. I tested them at 50% PC volume and 50% volume on the speakers and that was loud! The sound quality is very good too. I haven't tried the USB or SD card playback. In summary, these speakers are in a different league to your normal budget computer speakers and based on my experience so far I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Re review: was a slight loose connection and one of the metal tongues must of been slightly bent so I fixed it. Speakers aren't bad for 30 quid. Sound quality isn't amazing, only seems to really work when using 3d mode and sticking treble all the way up. Instruments are relatively clear, bass is enough, can't really hit lows that well but it is still enjoyable. They look really good, I put them on my tempered glass TV stand and they looked perfectly at home, nice clean black wood look. I'd say chrome is a bit much and the blue led is a bit too bright. BT connection works perfectly, it connected instantly and there hasn't been a drop after being connected for 30 mins or so, so far so good. After I got them working they have been pretty decent speakers. I'd suggest using them for a small to medium sized room. Biggest problem I've got is slight static feedback sound, again probably from the loose connection. I would recommend at the £29 price point but don't expect the best quality or sound.

Not an audiophile person, but these speakers(Ricco T2018 Black) does rock my world! Filled up my living room nicely with its sound. Not a bassy type of person, hence I thought the bass was kind of adequate or slightly boomy. High range can be adjusted through the treble knob. Been listening to pop and some classical and been loving it so far. Overall, I would love to recommend everyone to get this speaker for its price. Aesthetically it looks alright in my room. The brown colour would look lovely but because the price difference is huge, I opt for the black one and boy it still looks pleasant in my eyes.

Really powerful speakers for the size with a good sound that is more than adequate for general use. They look good and are sturdy.

I got these as I needed some small speakers to use as monitors. However these are completely unusable due to the load buzzing... guess you get what you pay for!!
