FARLAND Sleeping Bag for Adults, Teens and Kids - 3 Season Camping Gear

My husband and I bought this for camping, planning on using it as a "top blanket" with sheets on an air-mattress. ---This blanket did the job - both in the tent and in the car during our 1600 mile trip. It got down to 61 degrees in the tent, and I was not cold; however, I might have been if my hubby weren't next to me :) Definitely, happy with this purchase and will use it again - in a few weeks, actually!

When I received the sleeping bag, it was in a vacuum sealed bag which made it easy to store until I needed to use it. After opening the sealed plastic wrap the sleeping bag was not much larger. I already used it for two camping trips and two backpacking trips. It kept me warm on my trips. I was actually surprised that I did not get cold like the times I used my sleeping bag I bought from Costco. I really like how practical the bag’s design is. Here are the pros: +The bag comes in a stuff bag; you do not have to worry about rolling the bag tightly neat to put the sleeping bag into the stuff bag. +The straps on the stuff bag makes it easy to attach to a backpack, or carry in general. +The sleeping bag is not that big, I think it’s great for people that are 5 feet and 8 inches or shorter. +The sleeping bag has a zipper at the feet AND a side zipper; I was able to unzip at the feet so that my feet do not get too hot. +The bag is rated for 20 degrees; I slept in 0 degree whether with a jacket on. Cons: -Sleeping bag may be too small for people taller than 5 feet 8 inches. -The sleeping bag is not too wide either; I call it a mummy sleeping bag. -The straps, used to compress the bag which are on the outside of the stuff bag, get in the way of the opening of the sleeping bag; It might be difficult at times to take the bag in and out of the stuff bag because the straps are in the way, maybe I am doing it wrong… Overall, I would recommend this sleeping bag to friends and family. It’s a great and practical bag; it is compact and easy to carry. For the price, it is a really good bag compared to other bags in the price range. If you have the money and are tall, I suggest going for a 0 degree bag or negative degrees bag that has multiple zippers like this sleeping bag does to control the heat. If you are about 5 feet 8 inches tall or below, and you are on a budget, looking for a sleeping bag that is easy to pack and carry, then this sleeping bag may be a great fit

I just recently used this bag for a camping trip over the weekend. The temperature dropped down to the low 40s at night and this bag kept me really warm! The first night I wore multiple layers, double socks, pants, long sleeve shirt, with a light jacket and down jacket. I was very comfy and warm! 2nd night, I wore single layers and a light jacket, and AGAIN I was comfortable! I did have hard time zipping up the bag when I was inside it, and the zipper seems to be very loose to wear if I don't put the strap down at the top, it opens freely and quickly. My only problem is that one of the straps broke when I was compressing my bag. Refer to the picture attached. I'm very disappointed in the quality of the straps and plastic. The straps do get in the way of pulling the bag out and putting it inside as well to compress. -The sleeping bag is not too wide either; I call it a mummy sleeping bag. Overall, I would recommend this sleeping bag to friends and family. It’s a great and practical bag. it is very compact and easy to carry, especially for the price.

I haven't used it yet, or even removed it from its bag, but I feel confident this sleeping bag will provide all that is required to sleep inside of a bag. Appearance is good, weight is decent, it appears to be comfortable, and the warmth it provides is something I dream will be appropriate. Buy with confidence.

Very comfortable, very soft, and roomy specially when you toss and turn like I do this is it for you. Keeps perfect temperature for me to sleep in Summer here in PNW. Bought two of this for me ang my wife

The actual length of the bag from top to bottom is 82 inches. This works just fine if you are about 6 feet tall but I was hoping for something that was actually 87 inches which would have given me the ability to slide down and have my head completely covered. There were tons of loose threads on the bag. Before washing it I had to take a lighter to something like 20 loose threads. None of them seemed like stitching was coming out, it just appears that when they made it they didn't trim the ends of their threads very well. After machine washing on the "handwash" setting and hang drying the insulation did bunch up a bit but it is still acceptable. The bag is rated for 20 degrees but it is very thin for that rating IMO. I would worry if the temperature was going to dip down below 40 degrees. The stuff sack is pretty garbage. There is this plastic window on it for the label that you would have to rip out stitching to remove. Beyond the extra thread holes that would leave there are actual holes in my stuff sack under the plastic window. When I tested it for the first time one of the buckles you use to compress it broke very quickly. In the end I have accepted that there isn't a better option for a longer/wider bag in this price bracket and I will just use a different compression sack. In the end I'm happy with this purchase. This worked great on nights that went down to about 45 degrees F, any colder than that and I likely would have wanted to wear a base layer while sleeping. It isn't that strong and I did hear the sounds of tearing fabric/threads on two occasions when I was moving around and accidentally pressed/yanked on the bag in an odd way. No identifiable damage but it does make me question how long this will last. I like that I was able to get a bag with the zipper on a specific side, this can matter in an ultra-light/ultra-small tent. If it weren't for the complete fail of a stuff sack and the inaccurate length I would have given it 5 stars.

We've had two of these for our kids for 4+ years. Initially, I bought them for summer camping and didn't think too deeply on the temperature rating. It has been colder than usual up in the foothills for camping (40 deg. and damp at night) and my kids have slept soundly while my husband and I are layering blankets inside and over our sleeping bags. The kids do add one of their home blankets to the inside for comfort, but these extra blankets are not warm on their own. Even with the cold temps, the kids leave an arm out and fall asleep quickly. I never write reviews, but since I am now considering buying two more of these for my husband and I - it seemed like the rare product that exceeded my expectations.

Good price, you can feel the inside head up instantly after crawling into it. However, the zipper could have been a bit more robust than it is and it's pretty small. I have 52" shoulders and I can only just fit them in lol. But I also dont have much shoulder room in other bags either. I also like how it unzips completely open so if can be used as a blanket as well.

Used in Scotland in May ...lovely and warm and folds top very small

Seems warm but well to big for travelling with it.
