I resisted buying this for a while because I thought it was expensive. However, I got so tired of rummaging around for pencils at rehearsals, or sending them flying off my music stand when I turned a page, I decided to give it ago. I love it so much I’ve bought a second for home. A pencil is included but other standard pencils fit. The magnet is small and light and unobtrusive, but it works perfectly. It’s strong enough to stay put on the stand but light enough to remove easily to use. The magnet is so small it doesn’t interfere with using the pencil at all. Perfect.

Simple and very useful pencil holder and pencil. As others have said it will hold other pencils. Allows me to have a pencil reliably located where and when I need one.

Great item. Simple yet handy. Attaches to anything metal, e.g. music stand, with a limpet-like grip. Very secure. Never be without a pencil again for those all important notes from the conductor. Comes with a pencil but ring magnet should fit any standard pencil. Pleased with this purchase.

The magnet pencil holder is a handy gadget so I always have a pencil on my music stand when I need one. The way the product was packaged for delivery was disappointing, just a plastic mail bag offering little protection so when I came to sharpen the pencil the lead was broken and kept falling out in small pieces, eventually I was successful but the pencil was much shorter than when I started off.
