These look cool but won't cool as much as regular vice nor plastic fake ice cubes
These are very beautiful and I like to use them for entertaining.However I tested them and they have 2 differences from with regular ice or plastic fake ice cubes.1. They sink to the bottom which is not where the warmest liquid will be.2. They don't cool as much as those. I did a test over an hour and whereas the water was cooled to 8 c for those for this it was 11 c. So not quite as good. Probably due to the sinking thing.But they look cool!

Useful if you want to only change the temperature
I don't use these often as the spirits I drink are not drinks I usually want to be cold (mainly whiskies of the Scottish and American varieties, and some rums). However if I do decide I want to chill a spirit in the glass, what I don't want is for it to be diluted or for its flavour to be changed by something added (and water from melted ice *does* have a weird flavour sometimes). These cubes work for me - they reduce temperature without affecting the drink. One has to be a bit careful not to shake them around in the glass - they are metal, with a frozen solid centre, after all - and you also don't want them in your mouth - but they're far better for me than using ice. I looked at whisky stones but too many reviews complained of flavour being altered - not something I want!

Brilliant idea!
These are amazing! We use them all the time in replacement of ice cubes. They stay cold for a decent amount of time, they don't cause your drinks to water down, there's no faffing around with trying to find a flat space in your freezer to put an ice cube tray and they look quite cool as well. Would recommend them to anyone, a real bargain and a great gift.

This came from China and took well over a month to arrive. It does not work well. A waste of money.
