Perfect mouse for laptop - Well done Logitech (again)
I decided to treat myself to a new laptop/travel mouse, after owning a M305 for a couple of years. I chose this mainly due to the design and brand. I'm glad I did.The mouse is a perfect fit for me: Slightly bigger than the M305 (good) was, but not as big as my desktop mouse. It has a taller arc, which makes it slightly bulkier, but very comfortable even for long sessions. Lightweight and glides effortlessly. This is not a gaming mouse, but perfectly accurate for general use. Buttons are responsive too, scrollwheel has good increments - can't fault the device - very happy with my purchase.I'm using this mouse on a MAC and PC (win7) occasionally without having any additional software installed. I tried "logitech options", but didn't have to adjust anything, all was perfect with the OS settings. The software however will notify you if the battery is running low.Removing the battery cover will reveal a compartment for the nano receiver, which is great for storage/travel.Couple of things to note:- The mouse DOES come with a nano receiver. Some noted that they got a bulky USB stick. if this is the case return your item, you've got a fake.- The battery life is nowhere near 18mths, but I never expected it to be more than 9 (and I use it a lot), so I'm OK with that.

Most Comfortable Right Handed Mouse I Have Used
I think Logitech make the best and most comfortable mice. For me, this is the most comfortable and tactile mouse I've used. It's very simple to set up. Simply plug in the USB connector and the wireless mouse works straight away. Both the left and the right click are very responsive, but what I particularly like about this mouse is the control the scroll function gives. It's very precise and yet at the same time requires very litte effort to scroll through documents. Whereas, I find with some mice scrolling through multiple documents can actually be quite hard work. The particular type of rubberised material on the sides of the mouse, means even if you are using this mouse for hours, it remains very comfortable.I have only one criticism and it applies to most computer mice not just this one. I just wish manufacturers would make more left handed mice. We are 10% of the population and yet there are very few left handed mice on the market. Logitech make only right-handed mice or amibdextrous ones. But ironically, having tried the various ambidextrous mice, although I am left handed, I actually find this mouse the most comfortable. That's because although it is a right handed mouse, so not precisely symmetrical if you were to divide the device in two. There isn't too much difference between the left and right hand side, which means, for me at least, using it left handed is still comfortable. And if Logitech would only make a left-handed version of this, that would be even better!

Highly recommended!
Brilliant mouse for the money. Very comfortable to use and the battery lasts ages. Seems of a decent level of quality that it will last as well which is a good thing. Nice tactile, clicky buttons and an equally nice scroll wheel. It doesnt have the rapid scroll free wheeling feature like some, but i was aware of this when i bought it (played with it at PC World before ordering off amazon). The grip of the mouse is very nice also, it never seems to make your hand sweaty, and the rubber wrap around the sides aids this. I use mine nearly all day every day with my works lap top.

This is a very good mouse- been using it for about a year now ...
This is a very good mouse- been using it for about a year now (yes, its taken me a while to write a review) and i havent had to change the battery yet (bear in mind i use it everyday for hours on end so it's excellent so far).it's very reliable and works almost anywhere given sometimes i work from bed and use a pillow as the surface. It's pretty ergonomic; it fits well in the hand and is a really good size for easy transportation in a rucksack or equiv so that you can use it on the move. The USB dongle is small and compact and doesnt interfere with the ability to use and store the laptop.Would reccomend if you want a no frills cheap mouse.
