Liver Health Supplement for Medium Dogs - Milk Thistle for Dogs Liver Support with S-Adenosylmethionine (Same) & Silybin - 30 Tablets

This is a great supplement for helping liver enzymes to balance. I have been using it on one of my dogs to keep cushions disease at bay. The vet says it’s working very well so I will continue to buy it. I can’t get my dog to just eat it, but if I put it in something she will. The tablet is a good size and easy to sneak into her food. She’s very picky but I don’t have any trouble sneaking this in it doesn’t smell weird or anything so it’s easy to hide it.

I bought these instead of the more well known brand for 2 reasons. 1) price and 2) he can take the pills with or without food. I read many reviews that said it was just as effective as Denamarin. My dogs liver numbers have improved since starting this supplement and I don’t have any issues getting him to take it. Effective, cheaper and overall more convenient!

I have had my 14 year old dog on this for about a year. Better than Denamarin, which is so much more expensive! I can crush these easily and add to my fussy dogs food (not even pill pockets work). My vet said her liver numbers are back to normal range and they have been on the high side for 5 years before that. This is on our monthly subscription. Great product!

My senior dog takes many pills. I thought one less would be great. I’ve cooked for her for 5 years for her liver disease. Takes dasaquin prior to trying this. But, after grinding it to put in her morning food, she really isn’t excited about the taste which she eats every morning with gusto. She won’t finish it all so that means not a full dosage. I guess I will have to give as a pill and then go back to dasaquin. Seems like the price is great and it can be given anytime which is wonderful especially if they take multiple pills that need spaced. Just didn’t work for my 16 year old. I think chewing would be difficult. She has all her teeth but when I use the mortar to crush it takes some work, which I know she wouldn’t like.

I have never had an issue with this product before but this time it seems like the oxygen absorber was not working properly because the product soured! I did get credited.
