Focal Alpha 65 - Active Studio Monitor

I have recently upgraded to these from the alesis mk2 and couldn't be happier(props to the mks tho very cheap, great sound and lasted me 5years plus i gave them to my brother after buying the alphas, I'll start with build quality of the alphas which i have to say is top notch they look like they will last along time and you can defiantly fell the weight of them when you pick them up , the styling is cool they look really beasty, now the important thing the sound of these bad boys, when i first set them up i was impressed of how wide the stereo image is and how well they separate sounds in the mix also they have a very wide sweat spot so they sound great pretty much anywhere in the room which is usefull , the bass is very deep yet fast punchy and controlled you could tell your mates you had a subwoofer too and they would believe you, the mids sound so rich and controlled pads sound amazing , the highs have plenty of detail too and even tho very open not at all harsh there just right , overall i am very happy with these speakers they sound amazing very clear and refined and a very wide stereo image. I would recommend to anyone looking at the 500ish price range to get these, i didnt get mine from amazon and i picked up a new pair for £415 and couldnt be happier

Bought the 65s to replace my 8-inch presonus monitors and there isn't even a comparison.It was between these and the yamaha hs7 and I'm so glad I chose these!Honestly there are cheap monitors and overly expensive monitors and these things are just the perfect in-between!Exceptional sound like have never heard before! Less colored than the other monitors I mentioned but there are controls on the back as well!

Bueno había tenido la oportunidad escuchar unos Focal Solo 6 BE, que son otra liga, pero la verdad estos dan la talla. Los solo no me gustaron en un principio, pero era porque no los entendía.Al tener estos, me he dado cuenta de algo que había leído en mil lugares: una imagen estéreo única de focal que permite escuchar una profundidad que no he percibido en otros monitores. Y es completamente cierto, era el problema que encontraba en aquellos mas caros (uno solo vale mas que estos dos juntos). Por su contra, estos, son la gama económica de focal, pero no por ello son una birria, al contrario, creo que son perfectos para cualquier home estudio, debido a su bass reflex delantero (posición ideal si no se ha trabajado el acondicionamiento acústico).No colorean, lo bajos son definidos a bajo volumen y los agudos claros.Contentísimo.
