Consistently strong roast - if you like a rich dark cup this is one I could drink every day

The best coffee in my opinion. I like my coffee strong and full of flavour with bold notes and this does the job. It does not taste burnt but yet full of roasted notes and a fine sweetness thata not too much and not too little. I have not had any other coffee since that can compete. Its an all rounder where it holds its own in irish coffees and cold brews and still give ypu a tender coffee flavor that fills the kitchen with the aroma.

Always an excellent bean to fall back on, consistent with a great aroma and a delicious taste. I do prefer it packed in foil as opposed to the tin cans. Also an excellent price in the spring sale

I’m not a connoisseur of coffee. We all have individual tastes. I find these descriptions of chocolate, berries of some sort, spices or whatever rather silly. That said this is a good full bodied coffee excellent as Americano for me. I would have liked a little less roasting ie inbetween this and their standard version as for me there is a minor after taste but not so much that I would not keep using these beans. Are they worth the extra price. Just about so I’ll keep buying above other so called “ award” winning beans which I e wasted buying as they are too weak. Btw I like my coffee stronger.

Makes a great espresso or cappuccino, with its strong, rich flavour. Illy Intenso delivers a consistently enjoyable cup of coffee.

Strong coffee. Er ... It's coffee and it's strong!

Disappointing. Not sure if they have changed the blend or my palate has shifted, but used to love this - IMO tasted like £12 a bag coffee quality for a bit over half that - but now find a bit too bitter. Worth the money probably but no longer a secret bargain.

Love Illy Dark roast beans. Great strong flavour. Perfect for my bean-to-cup machine. Convenient tin which I refill.

Taste great and price is a lot better buying from Amazon (sometimes when there is discount)

Bevo spesso Illy, è uno dei miei marchi di riferimento perché offre una qualità costante e un gusto sempre ben riconoscibile. Ho voluto provare questa versione Intenso in grani, e dopo diversi caffè posso dire che ha mantenuto le promesse. Lo uso con una macchina automatica con macinatura integrata, e il risultato è sempre molto buono: crema compatta, profumo forte già durante l’erogazione e un gusto bello pieno. Si sentono chiaramente le note di cacao amaro e un leggero tocco di frutta secca, soprattutto nel retrogusto. È un caffè che rimane sul palato, corposo ma non amaro. Una delle cose che apprezzo di più è al mattino: dopo aver preparato un paio di caffè, la cucina si riempie di un profumo che ricorda quei locali dove già entrando capisci che il caffè è buono e l’atmosfera è quella giusta. Pro: - Aroma intenso, come da descrizione - Chicchi ben tostati, uniformi e profumati - Perfetto con macchina automatica, crema densa e persistente - Ideale per chi ama un espresso forte e deciso Contro: - Il prezzo non è basso, ma la qualità si paga - Il gusto può risultare un po’ troppo tostato per chi cerca caffè più delicati - La confezione da 250g finisce in fretta se si beve spesso - Ogni volta che lo ordino su Amazon, almeno uno dei barattoli arriva ammaccato (fortunatamente il caffè all’interno non ne risente, ma è comunque fastidioso) Nel complesso lo consiglio a chi apprezza un caffè corposo e con personalità. Non è il più “gentile” tra i caffè Illy, ma è perfetto per iniziare la giornata con una bella botta di energia. Se siete già fan di Illy come me, questa versione intensa merita sicuramente una prova.

Café de intensidad alta, pensado para espresso. Utilizado en De’Longhi Dedica, la extracción es estable y consistente, con buena presencia de crema y un aroma intenso desde el primer momento. El sabor es equilibrado, con cuerpo medio-alto y sin exceso de amargor ni acidez marcada. Funciona bien para consumo diario, tanto solo como con leche, manteniendo el carácter del café. La molienda es homogénea y facilita una buena extracción sin necesidad de ajustes especiales. Por el precio al que se ofrece, la relación calidad-precio es muy correcta. El producto llegó en perfecto estado y correctamente embalado. En conjunto, un café fiable y recomendable para quienes buscan un espresso intenso sin complicaciones.
