MerrellMen's Moab 3 Mid GTX Hiking Shoe

These are brilliant boots: comfortable, good to go out of the box and, almost, like walking in your slippers!! Completed the Cuillin Ridge with these from day one and no blisters

I have several of these Merrell Moab shoes/boots. Never wear them in bad weather. They are light weight, comfortable and overall great. One thing I have noticed, they look worn from day one. That doesn’t worry me at all because I don’t hear my friends saying: got new boots ?

Always good quality from Merrell, my last pair had seen 4 countries and all terrain, light weight on the foot, comfy padding around ankle, I got size 9.5 just gives a bit more room with thicker walking socks, these will be well used in Gambia in November!

If you find something you like, stick with it. A good piece of advice my father handed down to me. Merrell boots work well for me. They have for years. This is my 5th or 6th pair of Moabs. I’ve had mids, lows, vent, WP, and Goretex. All work well. Sizing is consistent, grip is great (as long as you buy a model with Vibram soles) support is good, comfort is top notch, and waterproofness is, well, just that.In my job as an outdoor educator, I wear this style of shoe more than any other. 40 hours a week, 12-20,000 steps a shift. Not to mention my own recreational hiking. I never come home with tired or sore feet.
