Car Headrest Mount for Swivel & Flip Style Portable DVD Player-9 Inch

We bought this to car mount a 9in portable DVD/Media player and have been delighted with the results. The mount fits the unit snugly, and a very wide elastic & velcro strap means you can mount this on the rear of pretty much any car head-rest. Once affixed, the unit is very, very stable. My wife drives like Lewis Hamilton sometimes and this thing doesn't budge an inch. The sides of the device remain accessible, so you can get to switches and most importantly for me, still access the USB slot to switch media in and out. This is a tough bit of kit - dare I even say kid proof?

My inlaws bought a different make mount for their dvd player and wish they had of purchased this. Because it is so easy to put on and take off when not using the car. My inlaw has artharitus in her wrist an this cover is so easy for her to use. A must buy wen puchasing a DVD player for in the car (I think)

It broke with a month. The screen went black. An expensive mistake to buy thisproduct.

This is a good DVD holder. Rather firm and snug. Does what it says on the pack. Would recommend this.

After my grandson started kicking out at the usual "tray type" dvd player holders in front of him in the car we knew we had to do something. I discovered how the swivel screen portable dvd players could be swivelled around and present themselves as a sort of flat tv. I then found this headrest mount which is a joy but you must fit the holder while the car is stationary as you need to stretch the broad elastic, velcro is present in a wide deep band and one end fixes fast to the other. The dvd player is put into the holder from the top and a Velcro held piece of fabric holds the it closed. This of course means that you might have to stop the car to change the disc if the holder is not directly in front of you. If it in front of a child in a baby seat and you are sat in the next seat it will be awkward to do while you are wearing your seat belt. You have to take the player out of the holder, lean the screen forward so that you can open the lid inside to take out a disc and put another in then fit the player back in the holder. The "tray" type holders allow you to do this much more easily. it's swings and roundabouts. They make a 7" version too. You'll notice the side retainers are wide elastic - this means a 7.5" or 8" player can fit in the 7" version too by stretching the side elastic. I found on one dvd player that one of the elastic retainer covered the hole where the power plug was to be pushed in. I made a tiny niche in the elastic so it would spread either side of the plug and not put pressure the plug. If the elastic frays I'll just cut it out. My 9" dvd player travels in a Case Logic case (see my review) and the headrest holder lies beneath the dvd player in the case. Likewise our 7" swivel dvd player travels in the LARGER of the two Hama dvd cases with the 7" headrest holder lying beneath it. So our old Hama case with the tray that got kicked now is used to store extra cables and such. It was a great idea using elastic and Velcro for this purpose. Just a shame knowing that elastic will finally perish. Must get as much use out of it as we can.

It's ok...have to wedge toy behind it do screen is in right position for my 2 year old who's eye level is a lot lower than head rest.

I bought 2 of these for my children's 9 inch portable DVD players and wasn't expecting much. I was very pleasantly surprised, they are brilliant! Very secure on the headrests and easily accessible to change the DVDs in each of the players. They were also a perfect fit, well worth the money and I definately recommend this product.

When wanting to watch a DVD whilst travelling, it only lasts one hour which is useless on a longer journey!

Ich habe die Halterungen erworben, weil mir bei beim Orginal Odys Seal ein Teil auf der Rückseite abgebrochen ist wo die Schlaufe durchgefädelt wird. Habe zwischezeitlich auch eine Metall/Plastikhalterung probiert ( auch hier bei Amazon gekauft). Die Plastikhalterung ist gar nicht zu gebrauchen gewesen. Nun wollte ich einen letzten Versuch machen mit diesen Haltern. Zugegeben hat mich der Preis von 17 Euro für einen Player etwas abgeschreckt, da ich mir ja für zwei Kinder zwei Halterungen gekauft habe, aber die positiven Rezessionen haben mich dann doch dazu bewogen hier zuzuschlagen. Jetzt zum Fazit nach 2000 km Urlaubsfahrt: Positiv: - Die DVD-Player sind leicht in die Halterungen einsetzbar, sowohl der dicke Player als auch der 2. dünnere Bildschirm. Einfach den Klettverschluß öffnen DVD Player reinschieben, Klettverschluß schließen, fertig. - Die Halterungen passen sehr exakt für 9 Zoll Player, in meinem Fall der von Odys Seal, man kann die Player auch noch leicht vertikal und horizontal verschieben wenn ein Teil des Bildschrims leicht verdeckt sein sollte. - Die Befestigung an den Kopfstützen ist kinderleicht und man kann die Halterung auch noch etwas nach oben oder unten schieben, so das die Neigung vom Player zum Kind richtig ausgerichtet ist. - Verarbeitung ist meines Erachtens sehr gut, sieht alles sehr sauber und langlebig aus. - Vorteilhaft ist des weiteren, daß die Player relativ einfach entnommen werden können, wenn man die Dinger mal über Nacht nicht im Auto lassen will. - Für mich war auch wichtig daß die Player sauber an der Kopfstütze anliegen und kein Störendes Gestänge im Weg ist, da entweder die Kinder immer mal wieder am Gestänge hängen blieben oder ich beim rückwärtsfahren oft aus Gewohnheit an die rechte hintere Kopfstütze gefasst haben - Folge war das der Player schief hing oder runterfiel Negativ ist einzig: - durch das Netz sind die vorderen Tasten schlecht erreichbar, aber für sowas gibts ja ne Fernbedienung und die seitlichen Anschlüsse für USB Stick und Kabel sind teilweise verdeckt, aber es ist alles stretchig und kann somit bewegt werden. Fazit: Ich könnte mir keinen besseren Halter für DVD Spieler vorstellen.

Prodotto eccellente. Buonissimo materiale molto resistente. Perfetto per i miei dvd player da 9 pollici. Tutte le porte per collegare chiavi usb e cavi audio rimangono perfettamente accessibili. Il montaggio è velocissimo e molto semplice. Una volta montato si nota subito la solidità del prodotto grazie alla chiusura a strappo molto larga. Per quanto riguarda la spedizione? Nulla da dire: velocissima. Il prodotto mi è arrivato prima della data prevista, facendo contenti soprattutto i miei figli che hanno potuto godersi il viaggio senza essere obbligati a tenere il dvd-player in mano. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Très pratique s adapte facilement à l appui tete .bonne tenue.le lecteur DVD ne bouge pas et s insère facilement à l intérieur.

S'installe très bien. Seul tout petit soucis, la bordure supérieure masque une toute petite partie de l'écran mais ma fille ne s'en plaint pas du tout.
