My grandson already had a set of these rails but we didn't have enough pieces to allow him to be more creative. He is delighted with them. They are well made and sturdy, the wood is very smooth and the rails fit together easily, but are not loose, so that the trains run smoothly on the tracks.They are excellent for helping with the development of a child's fine motor skills, so we will probably buy more options as and when required. Good value for money.

the Bigjigs rail expansion set was the perfect accompaniment to a basic brio set we had already purchased. It allowed my little one to expand his construction skills and imaginative play at a very reasonable price compared to other rail sets. With another set like this and a junction set, the opportunities for layouts will be wide enough for him (and if I am completely honest, myself ;) ) for a long while to come. I really recommend it. The only minor point is that the fit isn't quite as tight as I would like it to be, so trains can sometimes derail if they are being played with a little too enthusiastically.

We have a big jigs set this was an extra pack to extend track, our grandson loves it ,easy to put together, well made , can change layouts , we have several trains and wagons, Great , sturdy love it. Mark

Well made!! Has the double female & double male ends & extra bits of track, straights, curves & bits that let the track go straight yet cut off on another direction! Super wee set that is a great addition to any Thomas, big jigs, brio or other wooden track! I bought it to add to my sons existing Thomas & cheaper wooden set. A good buy in my opinion!!!

The product was excellent just exactly what the 2 grandchildren needed. What was not good was the packaging. In fact there was none! Delivery labels were stuck directly on to the BigJigs box completely covering many of the product illustrations and spoiling it as a storage box. Fortunately the delivery company had handled the package carefully and it was all intact on arrival. I know Amazon are trying to cut down on unnecessary packaging but I feel this was a step too far.

Great quality products and a really good value for money sets. We needed the little odd pieces ie female to female and male to male but they were extremely expensive from brio compared to this set. We have a lot of track now from about 4 different companies and big jigs are one of the best for quality, price and choice.

Passt gut zum Originalhersteller. Gute Zusammenstellung der Teile. Nur bei den engen Kurven muss man mit der Elektrolok aufpassen. Diese neigt dann bei uns zum Entgleisen.
