My sister suggested that I purchase this heat protectant due to the amount of heat I need to dry my super thick, mixed-chick hair - and WOW! Not only does it smell AMAZING as so many others have shared - but it does a tremendous job of protecting my hair! Before Kenra - my hair would sometimes smell scorched from excessive heat... Not anymore! It has shortened my dry time, substantially! But importantly, I love how it leaves my hair soft - frizz-free, shiny - and it's not as hot to the touch after using my hot air brush. My hair is way more healthy now. I HIGHLY recommend. It's a must have.

I do like to change my heat protectant spray every once in a while. I absolutely love this blow-dry spray! It smells amazing and leaves my hair feeling super soft and smooth. It noticeably cuts down my drying time and adds a nice shine without weighing my hair down.

Now that is a good product!! I would buy this again, I use this when I use my curling iron and it works great on my fine hair. It makes my hair shiny and smells amazing!

So far I really like this product. Let me explain.I took shots of my hair freshly washed and air dried, and also freshly washed and dried with 8 pumps of this product. I will also take shots of freshly washed and dried with a hair dryer but no product, to be posted later.I have thin, colored hair. The color has worn out mostly, but began with bleached out sections colored "fun colors" like blue, green and purple. The rest was colored alternately with a low light contrast to light brown. A ponytail is about one inch max. THIN! So hair drying with a negative ion dryer isn't TOO long, but I will post exact timing later.Air drying time not noted, but pics show texture of the ends, which is the damaged portion and most relevant. My scalp hair is super smooth and has tons of baby hairs so not a good comparison.I washed my hair after two days using the same shampoo and conditioner as air drying. I wrapped my hair in the towel for 7 minutes. I then gently towel dried (patted and a small amount of back and forth rubbing at the ends) for 45 seconds. I applied 8 sprays total, evenly. I combed it through using a three row comb, which I love. Once I had it combed throughly, I began to blow dry with my ion setting, medium heat, high setting (see pic). I always dump my hair forward by bending at the waist and finger combing backwards because my hair LOVES to lay flat and forward. After an extremely short time, I flipped my head up and started to comb (same three row comb) my hair back and straight. It took me 2:51:30 minutes to dry completely. LESS THAN 3 MINUTES! The results are not as refined or straight as air drying or using a flat iron, but the drying time is amazing! I can afford to use a straightener if this is the time a hair dryer takes! I will use a straightener after sleeping on it, and post those shots as well.After I complete the above, I will straight hair dry and time it, then straighten and post results.This product advertises shortened hair dryer time. It is true, if you hair is thin. I have no clue if it is thick. I will see if I can convince my very thick haired daughter to play the same game. Hers is curly, long and thick. The true test!Pictures show air dry, then product dry, the settings on the hair dryer (minus the high, as it was off) and the comb, shampoo and conditioner used.
