My mate Kevin says this pencil is waterproof and can be used underwater . . Is that true ?

Please be very careful when writing underwater as you could possibly drown due to insufficient oxygen always remember health and safety no 1 now that is true

Is the entire pen constructed from aluminium?

What you see in the picture is all aluminium except for the piece containing the lead holder at the tip. Internally, it is mostly plastic for the pieces holding the lead supply and encasing the lead advance mechanism.

It's as light as you would expect a metal pencil to be... I just weighed a regular wooden pencil @ 7g, and then I weighed this @ 17g

With other pencils, when I add new lead, click the top, the new lead loads, it's not the case with this..am I doing something wrong??

Try rattling the pen a little so that the lead slots into the nib? Failing that, make sure that you load the lead by unscrewing the pen in the middle and loading the lead into the straw stem.
