I bought these because eating 60-70g dates per day in the last 5-6 weeks of pregnancy is an evidence-based method of ripening the cervix in preparation for labour, and I decided to treat myself with delicious ones! I counted, there are 44 dates in one box, so about 20g each, that's indeed 3 dates a day. They are very sweet and soft, it will be easy to eat 3 of them daily : ) I bought 2 boxes in one go, which arrived quickly. Packaging seems practical to me, I am very happy with my purchase and this could well become a regular treat after baby is here! Thanks!

I’m a sucker for the best price for kilo on things and sometimes disappointed in the quality as a result. BUT no disappointment here - the dates were well packaged, delivered quickly, are plump and tasty (each one weighs about 20g), and the stone is very easy to remove from them.I’m in it for the ‘cervix ripening’ atm but other family members and visitors have tried them and commented on how good they are so they’ll be going in a sticky toffee pudding if there’s any left after the baby arrives.

Usually they’re lovely soft large dates. Occasionally you may get a box that are a bit dry. Overall can’t go wrong with Palestinian dates. But please can you not use Evri couriers who are so unreliable - they delivered my last order to a random address and it didn’t get to me for 3 days by which time the package was sodden
