Bad experience with this product: hoses generate a new plastic flavour in the water.
We bought this product so we could have water in the row of our liking and not use the domestic water at first everything very well very excited waited for the product to be able to install it We bought 4 bottles of 5 gallons to have enough water I got the product open the box I started to install it disconnect the domestic water very excited what was going to be able to drink the favorite water finish all the connection and enjoy favorite water coming out of the refrigerator. But what happened 😱 take me the surprise that the water had a plastic flavor as if the hoses gave off a smell impregnated in the water to new plastic I said it is normal because they are new the connection I thought maybe that smell and taste of new plastic would soon be removed but it was not like that let the water run so that that taste would pass and the hoses would be cleaned but it did not work either nobody at home wanted to drink from that unpleasant water the next day I said maybe it will be removed with a washed with dish soap disconnect everything again I went to zinc I made soap water and let it run all over the dispenser pipe for 10 minutes then we rinsed with clean water for 15 minutes to remove the soap and clean everything I said it's going to solve this smell and taste of plastic I reconnected eager to try the water 💧 but what was the surprise, that the taste was still a little less but very unpleasant so I don't recommend it now I'm going to request a Return: I hope this comment will help you so that you do not go through the same experience. Update: A lot of noise makes it look like it's going to break down.

little loud
We weren't impressed with the filter in our refrigerator. This allows us to hook up the 5 gallon jugs we get from our water company. I ended up needing to get some fittings from the hardware store as the press fitting they provided blew out. Glad I was in the house when it happened. Still ended up pumping about a gallon of water all over the floor. Since that fix though.... GREAT. Our icecubes are clearer and don't have any funky taste. So good you can put it in your favorite bourbon with no worries. It is a little loud when it turns on, but since it's for such a short time it's not that big of a deal to me.

Works as advertised
I like this water pump system. It is easy to install, but read the instructions well. It feeds both a small water faucet at the kitchen sink and the refrigerator water and ice maker. To do that I did have to buy some additional fittings. By the way. If you do want it to feed your refrigerator you will have to bypass the refrigerator filter. Most refrigerators come with a bypass plug for the filter. I did not have mine anymore. I wound up cutting the feed line to the filter and connected it to the return line with a fitting. Just check this size of the water lines. Some are the same, 1/4", but some are different. Mine was 5/16" feed line and 1/4" return. I bought the fitting for this at a big box store. Then I just drilled a hole on the back of the refrigerator wall to run both the water line from the pump and an extension cord for power. Every situation will be different, so just think it through. The only slight negative is the sound of the pump. It is not quiet. Even though it is in a different room in a closet, I can hear it when I turn on the faucet. This is not unusual. These small palms are similar to ones in RVs and they are just as noisy. Good luck.

So far, so good
Some reviews had me worried, but so far so good. Excellent product that does what it says. Our garage fridge did not have a dedicated water line and I didn't want to run one. This pump was a game changer. Ice maker works perfectly and kids can get water from the fridge too. I'll update if it stops working, but we are very happy for now.
