LEGOStar Wars Jabba’s Sail Barge

A bit of background: My son is absolutely obsessed with both Lego and Star Wars. He was recently taken ill and to let him know how proud we were of him for being so brave we treated him to this amazing Lego set. It's a huge build but very rewarding. He was really chuffed with it. You get some amazing characters from the original trilogy including Jabba the Hut, Max Rebo, Leia and R2-D2 complete with drinks tray! I think out of all the Lego he has (which is a lot) this might be his all time favourite set. He's since dismantled the barge but with all the parts he has ours of fun creating his own Star Wars creations. At the end of the day, that's what Lego is all about isn't it!

A great Lego set, allowing you to recreate scenes from one of the better Star Wars movies, even though George Lucas has tried to retrospectively ruin it with the addition of singing CGI and pointless extra Sarlacc Pit tentacles.It's fun to build and looks great when done. Kids will simply love reinacting the the part where Princess Leia mercilessly strangles Jabba the Hutt with a chain.Only criticism is that, for the price, it could have come with one or two more characters.

What more can I say. I have a happy son who is proud to have added this to his Star Wards Lego collection. Really nice details on the ship. Looks great on display in his playroom!

This was bought as a present for my son who was very happy with it, adding to others. He had thought it may have been longer. I was glad I managed to find it at a lower price than the RRP.

Bought this for my 5 year old son and he loves it. He was able to complete it himself with some guidance (I checked his work as he went along and he was right 95% of the time!) and the end product is great. Very expensive at full price but look out for deals on amazon to make it more affordable.

Purchased as a Christmas present; my 6 year old son loves this set. He needed a bit of help with the sails, but other than this he found the build challenging but not impossible. He has greatly enjoyed playing with the set since building it, especially the Jabba and Princess Laya characters.

This was our son's key request from Father Christmas this year, so an absolute "must have in time for Christmas". Our son had asked for it to save Mummy and Daddy having to spend so much on a present...! You have to love the logic! Arrived on time, as requested and kept him busy for most of Christmas Day. An absolute hit. It even came with Princess Leia and the gold bikini!

Great mini figs with super printing! But a rather small interior. It's interior capacity is not that I would've expected! So I've resorted to a looking at item

What's not to like about Legos! Keeps children occupied for hours and encourages their imagination. Although he prefers the Stars Wars items he has so many already he is branching out into the Lego Chima series and often combines the two in creations of his own!

Si te has perdido la anterior edición de este modelo y no estás dispuesto a pagar lo que se pide por él en el mercado secundario, este es una buena reedición, aunque algo más pequeño. Aun así, resulta muy resultón, tanto para los coleccionistas que quieran tener uno de los vehículos más peculiares de la trilogía clásica, como para los niños, por su excelente jugabilidad. Además trae algunas figuras exclusivas y no antes fabricadas.En conclusión, un buen set, recomendable sobre todo si se compra a buen precio (Amazon lo ha tenido a menos de 80€)

Versione aggiornata del precedente modellino 6210 del 2006, il Galeone a vela di Jabba del 2013 è assolutamente perfetto. Il prezzo di listino forse è un po' esagerato ma qua su Amazon, al prezzo a cui l'ho acquisto, si risparmiano non pochi soldi. Tra le minifigure troviamo Jabba the Hutt stesso (già apparso nel 9516 Jabba's Palace), R2-D2 (stesso identico degli altri modellini con la differenza che presenta un tavolino con bottiglie e bicchieri), la principessa Leia in versione schiava (anch'essa versione aggiornata rispetto alla precedente Leia schiava), Ree Yes (nuova minifigura perfetta), una Weequay Skiff Guard (anch'essa nuova e perfetta) e Max Reebo. Poi abbiamo il Galeone a vela in sé per sé, curato nei minimi particolari e dettagli il quale è apribile da tutti i lati e presenta un cannone nella parte anteriore e due flick-fire-missles al cannone laser principale. Abbinato al modellino 9496 Desert Skiff del 2012 (io ce l'ho per fortuna e vi consiglio l'acquisto il prima possibile perché è quasi introvabile ormai) potrete ricreare la battaglia di sulla fossa del Sarlacc vista ne ''Il Ritorno dello Jedi''. Se volete ricreare le atmosfere della trilogia originale e dell'episodio VI, assieme anche al palazzo di Jabba (9516) e alla fossa del Rancor (75005), questo è il set che fa per voi.
