Contains quite a lot of useful information about how to use colourHowever the card is thin and flimsy, considering the cost I would expect something more substantial.It has also arrived bent and creased condition.

This product has helped enormously with planning new colour schemes for the garden.

It works! I took it to a plant nursery. It made picking out plants for my containers a breeze.

I ordered this color wheel because I wanted a wheel for thread painting purposes and general embroidery use. I explored the various styles offered and settled on this "Gardener's Wheel" because I thought the size would be more useful than the smaller wheels. The wheel arrived quickly and is exactly what I had hoped it would be. It is large, just a bit smaller than a sheet of 8x11 paper, and covered with plastic coating. The front side of the wheel offers a wide variety of colors, and the reverse side offers the shades and tints. Overall the color options are excellent and will certainly head you in the right direction when it comes to selecting thread colors. The one thing I would say was that the description mentioned 'two wheels' but what it actually meant was that there is a wheel on the front and a wheel on the back - not two separate wheels. Otherwise I would highly recommend this wheel for anyone wanting help selecting their thread/fabric colors...and yes, I do intend to employ the wheel in my flower garden this coming spring!

I LOVE my Gardener's Color Wheel, and highly recommend it to all gardeners, whether they are novice black thumbs (like me!) or Real Gardeners with an alphabet of horticultural degrees after their names like my friends, Jim and Elsie! I love Sydney Eddison's gardening books, and when I saw that she was the creative force behind this color wheel, I had to have one. It's durable, lightly laminated and flexible, which allows you to bend it against the plants in order to see the more subtle color variations up close. Since getting my color wheel I have been able to design truly beautiful, professional looking container plantings, a thing I could never have done before. I've also helped a number of people at garden stores to choose successful color combinations, and sent them home as True Believers, intent upon ordering their own color wheels. I am an interior design instructor and have reviewed many different quick color scheme systems. This one is probably best for someone that already has an idea of the different color systems. A beginner could pick it up and use it, but I think it was better utilized by my intermediate students. It is an extremely helpful tool to have, whether you select one of the more elementary color wheels, or a system more like this one. It takes the guess work out of creating harmonious color schemes. If you have not had any exposure to color theory, look online for a tutorial. This tool will really help!

I ordered the color wheel for quilting and it is just what I wanted. It's large enough to view the colors and for this reason I have found it far more useful than the color wheel found in quilting shops. Since I love to garden flowers, I found the wheel quite useful. Previously I never thought to use a color wheel when chosing the flowers I wish to plant, but this season I took the wheel when I went to purchase flowers for the garden. One drawback, the shipping and handling is far too high. My husband ships many items, so I have a good knowledge of shipping costs and your cost was far too high.
