MediaDevil Ultra-Thin Keyboard Cover for MacBook Pro 13" & 15" (2016-2019, with Touch Bar) (UK/EU Key Layout) - Typeguard Anti-Bacterial Edition

Well, this is a first review for me, I don't usually tend to write them as I often have little time. However, I feel like I should share my experience with you readers and let you know what this product offers. Firstly, the customer service from this company is fantastic. I ordered my keyboard cover (anti-bacterial edition) directly through amazon and within a day, it was sat in my hands waiting to be opened, so as far as I am concerned the delivery was as speedy as possible. In addition, the product was well wrapped and packaged and to add a little touch the company threw in a couple of sweets which I thought was a brilliant idea; with the speedy service and the extra treats make this company stand out for me so far.So, the product, what are the pros and cons? Well, I was sick and tired of the 'greasy' keys that got left behind when using my laptop after dinner, or whilst I was having a quick snack at university, from the start, this keyboard cover really has prevented any problems with grease or any unwanted substances on my precious MacBook keyboard. This was a priority of mine as I am largely conscious that the keyboard can transfer grease onto the screen if you are not careful. However, this is not so much a worry now, I was still using my screen cover that I received when I first bought my MacBook. What does it feel like? Its great! I had hesitations in buying this cover as I read many reviews on the Moshi version and how it was said to be the thinnest version. Yet, I cannot see how anyone would be so picky as this cover is slim, let me tell you. It fits perfectly over the keys and stays well in place, there is little movement and to say that it has the Anti-Bacterial extra (which is said to reduce the overall clearness of the product) I can hardly tell it is there. There is however the logo of MediaDevil on the space bar, but it really doesn't bother me. Moreover, the typing ability when using this keyboard is better than I anticipated. I have read many reviews about the use of keyboard covers, and this has alway made me reluctant to actually buy one, but I am glad that I did because I am already used to it - for everyday use, it works a treat! I must point out that you can feel it when you press the keys, it feels softer and a tiny bit harder to press it but I would rather have the protection. Besides, when i want to do any long typing for my assignments I know I can just slip it off and place it back on when I have finished.All in all, I am very pleased with MediaDevil and their Typeguard (Anti-Bacterial edition). The product was delivered within a day of purchase and offers great protection from grease, liquid spills (if you are like myself who uses their MacBook whilst eating breakfast) whilst remaining low profile. The price is also very competitive for one of the thinnest available UK keyboard covers, as Moshi charge in excess of £25 for their version. I may repost a future review to show its ability to stand the test of time and how the clearness is affected (as I have read a number of reviews on the Moshi product saying how the cover gained stains from daily use). However, i feel safe in offering my recommendations to all you guys who are pondering whether or not to buy this product because I am very pleased so far and I know it will incase the life and possible resale of my MacBook when it is time to upgrade.24.11.12: So its 11 months old, and as I sit here updating you, it is exactly the same as the first day I bought it! It has stood the test of time for me, the cover is still perfectly see through and never ever is taken off of the keyboard! Definitely would still recommend this, have already recommended it to three relatives who love this product too! I found that for cleaning, just use a cloth with a tad of hot water and it removes any dust that may have lodged in any grooves! As for typing, I can hardly tell it is there now! My MacBook wouldn't be the same without it! Buy it! :)

Really loving this keyboard protector. I always have a dripping hot drink with me while working so this gives just that little extra peace of mind. It also avoids tiny crumbs and particles getting stuck under the keys, which always used to happen with my previous laptops as well as general wear and tear of the keys,It is almost invisible and fits absolutely perfectly to my 2014 Mac Air 13". It came with 6 tiny rectangular stickers to attach it with but no instructions, so I contacted the seller to ask how they recommended using the stickers. It turns out that the stickers are optional to use and they were just trialling them to see if people found them useful. The keyboard protector doesn't really require any stickers as it is moulded perfectly to fit the keys and it might cause a few issues if you want to remove the protector to wash it, so it is a personal preference really. The protector does come with washing instructions however I have not yet had a chance to wash it.Please note that it does slightly affect the feel of your typing. I have small hands and I definitely find myself having to press the keys a little harder. I thought I would get used to it after a few days but I'm still noticing it a week later. My boyfriend has larger hands and hasn't really noticed any difference so I feel like this may just be me being picky and having small weak hands. Additionally, the difference is much less noticable than what I have experienced with other keyboard protectors. But I believe it is a very small price to pay for such great protection and a perfect look and fit.

This is a great product.Well designed, great fit (the cover doesn't come out easily at all, although it is not adhesive), and most importantly it protects from dust, water, etc.The only downside that I've found using this is that typing becomes slightly hard.It loses the "silky touch" of Apple keyboard and I felt very tired after 8 hours of typing.Some suggest that it will get used to it, but it's not the same feeling, and I personally prefer typing without it.Luckily, it comes out, and fits easily. I decided not to use this while I do heavy typing (and I am not using this right now and feel better!!!)Otherwise, the product was well packed, great branding, quality is amazing.4.25 stars for me and I would recommend this item for protection purpose.

After an incident with a glass of squash and a new unibody case/fit bill of £200, I decided prevention was much better than a cure. I'd not even considered a keyboard protector before I nearly killed my computer, but this? I wouldn't be without. I decided to fork out for the more expensive model from MediaDevil rather than a cheap £3 cover having had a positive experience with their screen protectors recently, and I haven't been disappointed in the least. The protector is a perfect fit and effectively invisible (were it not for the MD logo on the spacebar, you wouldn't know it was there). It feels a little odd to type on, but after an hour of using I'm more or less used to it, and expect to grow more comfortable with it in the next day or two.As always, the protector arrived within 24 hours of ordering, with standard shipping - and bonus sweets to boot. Excellent service, excellent product. Worth every penny, especially if you're a little clumsy!

Ho acquistato questo prodotto vista la mia esperienza con altri prodotti MediaDevil, sempre di qualità eccellente.Il protettore di tastiera è molto sottile(forse troppo?) e molto morbido. Va APPOGGIATO sulla tastiera, quindi non è ad "incastro"(soluzione che, secondo me, pregiudicherebbe comunque la fruibilità della tastiera), ed è perfettamente sagomato(aderisce perfettamente a tutti i tasti). L'utilizzo della tastiera resta piacevole, la luminosità dei tasti non è compromessa e la rumorosità della battuta è forse un po' alleviata. Il protettore può essere lasciato appoggiato sulla tastiera anche a schermo chiuso(non crea nessun tipo di problemi).Inoltre può essere lavato e riutilizzato.Insomma, una buona soluzione per proteggere il mac da polvere e liquidi.Divertente il fatto di trovare le caramelle in ogni busta proveniente da mediadevil.Mi sento di aggiungere che ho acquistato molti altri prodotti MediaDevil(ad esempio pellicola in vetro temperato, sia per iPhone 6/6s, sia per iPhone 6 Plus/6s plus, adattatori SIM/micro SIM/nano SIM, e altri) e la qualità, dall'imballaggio, al packaging, al prodotto in se, è sempre molto alta.

Schlechte allerdings auch ;-)Ich habe diese Tastaturabdeckung für einen zahnärztlichen Kunden gesucht welcher hygenisch iMac Tastaturen im Beh.Zimmer einsetzen will.Leider ist es schwer, bis unmöglich ordentliche Produkte zu finden welche passgenau sind UND hygenisch desinfizierbar sind.Nach prüfung des Materials und testen mit der iMac Tastatur kann ich jetzt folgendes feststellen:+ passt auch für iMac Tastaturen astrein+ gut reinigbar, Flächendesinfektionsmittel ein paar mal ausprobiert, TPU hat sich nicht in Luft aufgelöst.+ Preis ist das Produkt wertKleines Manko:drückt man die äußersten Tasten an der Hüllengrenze hebt sich physikalisch bedingt die Schutzablage nen ticken an den Rändern hoch. Das ist aber keinen Abzug wert, das ist eben Physik.Verbesserungswünsche:- echte iMac Version, hier würde ich über der F reihe das TPU noch weiter hochziehen,so das bei Druck der obersten Tastenreihe das Material an der Stelle bleibt und beim wischen nichts drunter laufen kann und die Schutzhülle erst hinter der Rundung oben auslaufen lassen würde.- echte Freigabe für Desinfektionsmittel z.B. der Firma Dürr Dental.Das wäre auch ein echtes Alleinstellungsmerkmal.Sonderpunkte:Ich habe verschiedene ungewöhnliche Fragen an den Hersteller gehabt und obwohl ich auf englisch schrieb eine nette aufklärende Antwort auf Deutsch am selben Tag noch zurückerhalten.

Zuerst einmal, dank Prime kam es bereits nach 1 Tag an! Wow! Super!Es wurde wirklich sehr gut verpackt! Also wirklich gut! Zudem gab es noch zwei kleine Süßigkeiten dazu :)Der Tastaturschutz macht was es soll und zwar vor Schmutz schützen! Darüber hinaus habe ich das hier gekauft, um halt gewisse Abnutzungsspuren auf der Tastatur vorzubeugen!Das Tippen auf der Tastatur ist zu Beginn ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürfig, nichtsdestotrotz kommt man nach einer Weile Tippen ganz gut damit zu recht! Was mich nur bisschen stört, ist die kleine Werbung auf der Leertaste, aber da kann ich auch rüber hinweg sehen :DDas ist hier meine zweite gekaufte Tastaturschutz für mein Macbook, weil das erste von der Marke "kwmobile" im Vergleich zu den von "MediaDevil" viel schlechter ist, vor allem beim Schreiben stört es gewaltig! In Punkto Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist das hier zwar teurer, aber es lohnt sich definitiv! Top Qualität, gute Verpackung, Toller Service und schneller Versand!Ich kann es wirklich nur jeden empfehlen, der sein Macbook Pro wirklich liebt und es noch lange benutzen will!

Prodotto superiore alle aspettative.Ho un iMac book pro 13 " del 2015, in pratica l'ultimo modello.Il copri tastiera è molto preciso e tagliato alla perfezione.Compre benissimo tutti i tasti e quasi non si vede.Tra il tasti e il copri tastiera rimane uno spazio minimo forse un millimetro, forse meno e questo lo rende diciamo non perfettissimo per chi deve scrivere molto.Se invece usate poco la tastiera il prodotto è perfetto superiore a molti in commercio a prezzo più elevati.Se mi tocca scrivere molto, infatti, la tolgo perché la differenza c'è, ma questo è insito nella caratteristica del copri tastiera che seve a proteggere non certo ad agevolare la scrittura.Dunque tutto normale.In conclusione prodotto ottimo, lo ricomprerei a occhi chiusi.Venditore serio e affidabile.

Il prodotto è arrivato con un giorno di anticipo. era confezionato in maniera tale da resistere anche ad una bomba, tutto perfetto, addirittura all'interno della confezione ho trovato due caramelle.Per quanto riguarda la copertura della tastiera, posso dire che è un buon prodotto, sottile, facile al tatto, si adatta perfettamente al mio macbook pro retina, l'unico punto debole è il fatto che non aderisce perfettamente, nel senso che allo scrivere tende leggermente a sollevarsi.All'interno ho trovato anche delle strisciate bioadesive che servono a far aderire meglio il copritastiera.
