Very compact unit.

only problem with this product is that the "precision" valves on the torch aren't, as soon as you take your fingers off the tap the flame changes or goes out, only way out of this was to use the valves on the bottles and then not all that successful, I spent more time trying to adjust the flame than doing the work, rather a disappointment. :(

Even when brand new the valve on the gas bottle was iffy and over the seven years I've had it has got worse. Now the torch won't give a consistent flame, consistent enough to melt half an ounce of silver. Don't denigrate people for a bad product just consider yourself lucky you've got one that works, oh and by the way I've been making and repairing jewellery since 1977, my hands work matey this product doesn't.

when I read other reviews I feel sorry for people who want to do jewellery and they unable to adjust flame. Guys maybe you should change your hobby or job cos it looks like your hands r not clever enough. I am using this piece of kit (not only one) for years and always achieved my goal in few seconds. If I could give 6 stars I would. I am dental technician and I need that to do welding (NOT soldering!!!) Co-Cr Dentures. That is just awesome set but only if u clever enough to use it, so first learn and then complain.Strictly recommended. Rob

Does not last long enough , best to buy 9 ltr oxygen bottle from Adams gas supply and splice hose as oxygen bottle is useless with this kit.

Virtually impossible to light and get the right flame size as not very controllable, maybe okay in an emergency do not buy for everyday use get a Microflame
