As with all things from GoPro this is well made and robust.My only frustration with this extension cable is that cable does not seem long enough. I do lots of mountain biking and need to put the controller/battery into my backpack. Due to the short cable I can't put it into the main backpack compartment, and have to put it into the side pocket...... and always wriggles free because the coils on the cable act as a spring pulling it out. I have tried putting the controller/handle in the pockets at the back of my cycling jersey, but it seems to wriggle free from there as well (the unit is too big to use the zipped pocket on my cycling jersey). Perhaps I need to invest in some velcro.It has fallen out of my backpack & jersey a few times into the pedals/wheels/chain, but the coiled cable is tough and the controller/handle is tough and both the camera and bike are fine.

Well, I can only say how disappointed I am with this. I bought it to use with the Karma Grip. However, the grip does not talk to the camera at all with the cable connected. I have tried hard resetting the grip, all the software updates are installed, formatting the memory card and it still does not talk to the camera from the grip.If I take the gimbal out, and plug it into the grip, I can control the camera.Then if I power everything off, remove gimbal and plug the cable in, I can't control the camera. Just says USB connected.You'd think for £100 that a cable would work... I am gutted that I have missed the returns window, I have only just had a chance to test the whole thing out. What a waste of money.

Does what it says on the tin. It really improves footage no end. However, the cost is high and I feel it should come with an adapter for a GoPro 4. I don't think it's in anyway water proof which limits where it can be used. However, the footage is so much better with it.

Well, I can only say how disappointed I am! Purchased 2 if there to use with the Karma Grip.It Just says USB connected. Tried all the troubleshooting and still no look...I’ve read more online and this appears to be a major issue with the product...You'd think for £100 and the period of time this product has been available go pro would have resolved the issue.I am gutted that I have to return for the 2nd time. Don’t waste your money...

This does what it is supposed to do and works well. It adds a little to the actual gimble part but allows remote mounting. It is a lot of money for what it is though but that is the Gopro curse.

The camera won't actually move on from the 'connected via USB' setting once it is connected. I have tried, plenty of times.

I’m not sure what all the negative reviews are about. This does exactly what it says, it is way more versatile than the grip itself. I have used it 10+ times this year skiing with a chest mount and put the handle in my bag and it works great. I ski with it every day. Would recommend

Handle works extremely well. I was able to control the camera while mounted on my Seeker pack. Only used it a couple of times and had no issue. When you receive the cable, it is looped together and is a bit difficult to pull apart. I watched some videos over on Youtube during my investigation in to purchasing this and was warned well in advance.

Après des débuts laborieux avec ce cable qui ne faisait pas correctement le lien, j'ai finalement pu après mise à jour m'en servir comme prévu. Cela reste hyper cher pour un cable..

Es de uso indispensable para que podamos usarlo enganchado (con accesorios adicionales) a nuestra mochila, casco de moto o esquí, capó de vehículo... Nos permite usar el Karma sin necesidad de tener que estar pegado al "palo" de control.

Buona l'idea, un pò meno la pratica.Per quanto riguarda il funzionamento non vi sono problemi, di fatto si tratta di una prolunga per il Karma Grip quindi non ha funzioni "attive"; all'atto pratico però risulta scomodo e macchinoso, in quanto devi trovare un posto in cui posizionare il pesante e ingombrante manico del Karma Grip, dove far passare il cavo senza che provochi problemi di interferenza con i movimenti del corpo e un altro posto in cui posizionare la gimbal del Karma Grip con GoPro annessa.Se avete una GoPro Hero 5 allora vi consiglio di passare direttamente alla 6 che con lo stabilizzatore elettronico fa già un buon ottimo lavoro di stabilizzazione, se avete una Hero 6 invece non compratelo, per voi è inutile.
