Groundhog Stake Kit (6 stakes)

Solid &!lightweight I don’t think you will beat these unless a force ten wreaks havoc through your site.

Very light weight.. I purchased x2 of these so have 12 stakes. Still MUCH lighter than the 16 the tent come with (which you don't need). Build quality and strength is on a whole other level too!! Really pleased. Am going to purchase another set of 6 too for a different rucksack.

I bought these to replace the standard pegs on my Robens tent. I'd already purchased some for my MSR tent. You may well ask why I need two packs but once they are bought they are put in the tent pack that way they never get left behind! Used these pegs in various surfaces including some quite hard ground and the perform very well. Go in relatively easily and feel secure Yes, there's cheaper options but but cheap buy twice .....or lose your tent in a strong wind!

Only downside is price

The product itself is great. It does exactly what it says and it's the best lightweight tent peg I've found so far. However, the knock-off brands have 20 of these for £10 as opposed to £6 for £18 when buying MSR. I would highly recommend you get the knock-offs as they're almost exactly the same and much cheaper.

Went camping last week and used these tent pegs. They slid into the ground easily. Then the wind picked up, it was quite gusty up in the mountains where I had camped, and it kept moving round. At one point it was blowing really hard against the side of the tent. Luckily things quietened down overnight. But the MSR groundhogs hadn't budged a millimetre. In the morning a sharp tug on each of the attached cord loops brought them straight out of the ground. The peat needed cleaning out of the three angles, but that was a very small price to pay for a design which certainly paid for itself many times over that night. Excellent.

Wanted these for new tarp as much more lightweight. Only tried in garden so far but seems good. I like colour as well as pegs easily lost on hills.

Ya los estrené en terreno medio duro y rocoso, les dí su clavada con hacha y la verdad que dieron buen servicio. Los usé tanto para un toldo y para sustituir los de la tienda, se vino la tormenta y bastante viendo, no se movieron NADA. Costosos pero excelentes, compraré otro kit para ya sustituir todos los de la tienda.

Canada review. Both of these came from Amazon, but only one had MSR laser etching on the stakes. On the left are legit MSR stakes, they have laser etching, feel more solid, they sound more solid, the pull rope is quality and isn’t frayed upon arrival. Buy the real MSR stakes, the Chinese knockoffs (on the right) are being returned. Know your gear and don’t buy Chinese knockoffs.

Prodotto di qualità alla quale unisce il requisito di leggerezza che cercavo. Già utilizzati fanno il loro dovere, comodo il colore rosso e il legaccio per individuarli e toglierli facilmente. Possiedo sia quelli da 15cm che i 19cm...comodi per diverse situazioni.
