Yukon NV Scope Patrol D 4x50 Night Vision

It works, but the depth of field is so small that it's practically useless.

I bought this item with the intent of viewing nocturnal animals like Foxes and Hedgehogsin my local countryside. The versatility of the Yukon has far exceeded my expectations. It is truly amazing the field, length and quality of vision shown. The scope is simple to use, with good use made of the two AAA batteries required powering long term use. I cannot recommend this product enough, it is truely the best in it's class. So far it's been used for nature watches, hiking, camping, back garden use and use in various terrains including grasslands and forest. I thoroughly recommend the product.

I have got several pairs of binoculars and a scope for wildlife watching so thought on the basis of the good reviews, this would be a nice gadget to observe wildlife at night. It arrived fine but the first disappointment was this is a Belarussian manufacturer and the usual nice finishing of German or Japanese optical equipment is missing from this item. It's a bit crude and clumsy to use. But it might still have OK performance, right? I tried it out at night in the country with little background illumination and again was shocked by the poor quality image. With the IR off, in darkness I could not see anything even close up. With the IR on, I could just about see things upto ~10 m away but the images were poor, grainy and quite distorted, like looking through a fish eye lens with lots of background static. Beyond about 10m the IR fades out and again I could see nothing. Very poor overall performance so it went back. Take my advice, don't waste your time and money on this.

well impressed, would recommend this highly,went into a wood sunday morning pitch black,the clocks had changed so went early,switched this on and i was well surpised how good this is,there were 2 roe deer, fab,10/10

i have researched the night vision for some time now and this met all my requirements at a good price, i am very pleased with it and would recommend this one

This is a fantastic item it was supposed to be a Christmas present for my husband but He tried it out and I have not been able to get it back...haha
