Larger than expected. However good value for the money.

This was packed with quite thick tape sticking the lid to the base. Unfortunately the tape was covering the plastic locking clips and when I removed it, two of the clips broke. The plastic is very thin. The breakage hasn't rendered the item unusable but it makes me wonder how long the other two clips will last. I couldn't be bothered to return it. It was quite cheap so I suppose you get what you pay for.

I used this for storing and transporting Christmas cakes. I purchased 3 and sent one up to Essex in a box as a present and it was perfect for the task! The cakes stayed lovely and fresh for at least 4 weeks after cutting and I’m sure they will come in useful for gateaux and sponges throughout the year. The only, potential, problem could be the four clasps which hold top to bottom, as they are not the sturdiest (being made out of plastic) so I personally wouldn’t carry them far without supporting them underneath.All in all I am quite happy with the product.🙂

Clips aren't great

Not that good as only 3 clips out of 4 closed, apart from that if you cover the cake with foil it doe’s the job, but that defeats the object.
