This thing literally fits in the palm of my hand or right into your pocket. I mean how cool is that! I Love that it is easy to carry around with you. Whenever you’re bored you can easily pop this out and play chess with someone. The board does not slide around but it stays in place. I love the gold and sliver color, it just makes it pop. The best part is that it’s magnetic and I don’t have to worry about it falling of the board. I highly recommend this chess set. I got mini size and I love it!!

Very small and very cute.

For the price this is really good. The extra small board is still big enough to play on. It packs down into a size that is easy to take with. The magnetic pieces are strong enough to reliably hold while the board is handed back and forth during play. The pieces are nicely formed, and they all fit well into the storage space without problem. It is a simple set at a great price point. The one suggestion I have is that the pieces are too tall compared with the size of the board. I would like to see the piece height reduced by 1/4 to 1/3 to be proportionately consistent with the board size. But I can live with it as is.

Got this for my eight-year-old. Good price can fit in a pocket. It’s magnetized so you can’t lose all the pieces. It’s pretty durable has held up to an eight-year-old.

Perfect size for traveling, it’s super small. We lost a piece on the 15th, contacted them on the 18th, and received, not only the missing piece or all the game pieces, but a backup board as well! Great quality and fast and amazing customer service. It also comes with a service card that explains how each piece moves.

One of my kids really loves chess, and we knew we had some travel coming up where space would be at a premium. This little chess set made it through multiple plane trips and different hotel stays. It is not tiny enough to be difficult to play, but is small enough to carry in a backpack. It stays closed and the pieces don't leak out everywhere. We did have issues with a couple of the magnets not staying attached to the pieces, but those could be easily glued back on. But beware if you have small children at home! The company states that they will replace missing pieces for free, which we haven't tested yet, but is a nice perk with pieces this small!
