Geemarc Amplidect 295 Combi - Amplified Corded and Cordless Telephone Set with Answering Machine and Large Buttons for Seniors - Low to Medium Hearing Loss - Hearing Aid Compatible - UK Version

I bought this for my 92 year old mum who still lives independently. The equipment looks good, it's strong and sturdy, easy to set up and has large buttons with the ability to set 3 emergency 'one press' buttons. This was a feature that was important to us. The quick user guide is slightly overwhelming but the customer support from Geermarc is 5 star. I sent an email with a programming question and had an immediate reply within 5 minutes which completely answered my query. I would definitely recommend this product.

my dad was delighted with his new phones, they are spot on. big buttons and 3 photos so he can just touch a photo and ring without touching a button. HIGHLY recommended. . i have one complaint. on the receipt, it is said that the package was signed for and handed to customer. this is incorrect. my dad was on his garden . when he went to his gate , he found the package thrown over the wall on his garden. There was no delivery note . it could have been stolen as it was next to a main road. This is the first time. we have had a problem like this. but obviously, the driver/delivery man has lied. it wasnt signed for and it wasnt handed to my dad. He never left his house or garden all day , so he could have signed ,

I bought this phone with the additional extension for my elderly mother who is both hard of hearing and has sight problems. She already had a Geemarc which she found easy to use because of the big buttons and the amplification button but wanted an extension upstairs. Unfortunately the main handset does not have the same amplification level which makes it difficult for her to hear callers. Also it is very difficult to set up and we have still not managed to work out how to edit the direct memory keys to change a number.

The phone is very poor and is not fit for the specialist purpose it is sold. The first problem is that on its loudest setting the ringer is just not very loud or piercing. It is significantly quieter than the standard BT phone it was bought to replace. The second problem is that it only allows the phone too ring for a fairly short period before terminating the incoming call and telling the caller that they cannot leave a message (if the answer machine is switched off). The old BT phone used to ring for ages and ages before self cancelling. The function to internally call the base unit from the handset rings even quieter than an incoming call. What you need if you cannot hear well is a phone that rings really loud and for a long time. This phone is not such a phone. To top it off it is the most complicated phone I have ever tried to set up to use.

Good phone, a bit bulkier than expected but as we have it on the wall not taking up to much space. A good feature is the "Amplify" button if you get a bad line or caller with a quiet voice you can turn up the volume on the handset.

Great for those that can’t hear high pitched sounds. The times in this phone is loud. My mum is 70 and very deaf. The ring tones take a while to get use too. It’s very loud. Mum can use the amplifier for telephone calls. She uses the smaller one in her room. For normal hearing and neighbours it’s pretty loud. But what can you do, bear with. No other phone worked for mum, especially small extensions. Mum couldn’t hear it! This one worked and not even from deaf phone sellers! Very pleased finally! Price good too.

The product was sent next day delivery, very well packaged. With a thank you letter for using there company. I will check out this supplier if or when need something else. Great phone perfect for my mum to use.
