It's a shame the british can't make quality products any more! Engineering is abyssmal in the UK. We now need to look to Europe for anything quality and this Marcato product from Italy certainly will not disappoint.It's about as simple as a pasta maker can be, but didn't get that feeling that so many Chinese products do, where you need to treat it with kid gloves or it'll break! This is extremely sturdy, well-made and after using it for half a day, I'm happy to go on to purchase additional attachments (had it been Chinese, I'd worry that the thing would break before the attachments arrived!).Great product, very versatile and really is a purchase that I expected would cost more!Came with some attachments, not tried any attachments yet, including the ravioli maker, so can't comment on their abilities.Cleaning, I imagine would be difficult, if you didn't clean it quickly after use, or you managed to get pasta, flour and oil everywhere, but careful, tidy use will make cleaning a breeeze, as you then won't need to take everything apart.I see there are many copies of this model, so a testament to a successful and popular brand! I wonder what a mess of copying the Chinese did with it, probably made it with pastic metal! Glad I didn't risk a Chinese disappointment!

I researched pasta machines heavily & this was the obvious choice. Arrived as promised next day & I have just used it for the first time. Well, what fun! I love it! Much easier than I expected. The noodles I was hoping for were absolutely spot on. The machine exudes quality. This is going to be getting a lot of use! Well worth the investment. Ravioli next!!

This is a wonderful product. It's taken a bit of time to perfect the pasta (still getting there with the ravioli) but is very well made, sturdy and looks great in the kitchen

If you’re reading this then let me do you a favour - just buy it!! I bought this for my wife and it has changed how we view and eat pasta. The machine is brilliant and clearly a well made product by a reputable company. Chefs moan about making fresh pasta but we’ve found it to be very easy and enjoyable - the end result is just fantastic. Just remember if you buy this you’ll need a pasta dryer to go with it. Happy pasta making!!

Lovely piece of engineering with lots of chrome.Pretty easy to use but they should put out a Dvd on preparation with it. Don't buy one unless you're a determined cook. We're just starting to get the hang of it after 4 attempts and it will take about the same again just to get it right. Possibly the problem is with the mix, but we followed the instructions and it's still not right. You really need to use all that you make there and then, as it's difficult to try and store/freeze any extra. Definitely not for the faint hearted, but a good machine none the less.

Considering that this set retails at £165 I was more than willing to purchase for £92. 2 years on the quality is evident. I wouldn't waste my time with any other brands - everything works as well as it did when first received. The perfect gift!

East to use, really good quality, there are cheaper alternatives on the market, but I now rather spend a lot more but get a good quality product. It will have longer life and for all those time, you own a good quality product.Do recommend to watch some video tutorials before use, especially with ravioli, my first attempt was quite messy.

Our daughter bought a cheap Chinese knock-off of this Marcato Atlas 150. She wasted her money; it was AWFUL in all regards (including the fact that its rollers were chrome-plated and the plating started coming off, sticking to the pasta!!!). So we decided to finally buy the Atlas 150 kit (which we'd been considering for years); what a HUGE difference from the cheap Chinese junk! Everything wrong with the knock-off is countered in this Marcato unit with superb quality and excellent results every time. I do not have time to write all the plusses of this unit compared to the knock-off; just suffice it to say it is like comparing a Rolls Royce to an old Yugo hatchback.
