We found that 2 Tablespoons was a more convenient measure for the popcorn kernels. Fluid ounces or ml. Is usually for liquids not weight. 1/8 cup is accurate but most measuring cups stop at 1/4cup which is equal to 4 Tablespoons. Just stick to 2 Tablespoons and you will find that satisfactory for these popcorn makers.
