HP Envy 5030 All-in-One Printer

My order arrived within a few days in the box you see in the picture which was abit of a surprise as there was no outer brown box, I must have missed that bit of info when ordering but it's something to be aware of especially if you're not going to be in & your safe drop spot is visible by passers by... The printer itself is a beauty very nice looking as printers go & not oversized compared to a lot of other makes, I found the set up very easy & was online within minutes, I did download the HP app before I started so unsure if that made a diffrence, the only thing that stopped me in my tracks for a few minutes was the paper tray, I couldn't find it..! & when I did I didn't pull it out far enough, but I soon figured it out, I guess I was being abit careful incase I pulled the tray of or something, BTW, the paper tray is at the front of the printer & slides out from the bottam.. ( looking face on) ... I hope this helps others who may have problems locating the paper tray.. The paper does not come with the printer but the ink does, & there's also a option for a subscription for 12mths of HP instant ink which I think is pretty Awesome , 15 pages per mth is free, & if you need abit more than 15 pages then there's a small fee of 1 pound/$1 for an extra 10 pages, the first 3mths is free of charge if you sign up for this offer within 7days of activating your printer, there are other plans with more pages like 1.99p/$1.99 for 50 pages per mth, this one allows a roll over of any unused pages,& also like the free plan you can pay $1 etc for the extra 10 pages, there are increased prices depending on which plan you chose & you can change this at anytime, I chose the free plan to start with as I really do not know how much I print out in a mth so no doubt il be changing it, Also the printer will send for more ink when your printer is low on ink & this will be delivered by post with options of disposing of your empty ink cartridges, I would deffo recomend this printer it is the best printer I've had & for me I found its very easy to set up & use albeit with slight confusion of finding the paper tray....lol...

I have had this printer a few weeks now and am very pleased with all that it does. The set up was a doddle, no problem at all, even connecting it to my iPad and smartphone. I particularly like the double sided printing. Photograph prints look good too. It prints quickly and fairly quietly. I like the Instant Ink process, happy with it so far. I was away for nearly a week so I turned off the power to the printer and got an email asking me if I was away and ok, and would I please reconnect the printer to the Internet so that HP would know how my ink was doing! I was also sent a set of inks to have in hand. The only glitch I had was how to clear a paper jam. I had to go to YouTube to find out how to do it as the process was completely different to any other printer I have had in the past. Once I saw how to do it, it was easily sorted.

I print a lot of draft chapters to be proofread and edited. This little printer is excellent for my home office, the whole family have taken a shine to it. It's easy to use and nice to look at. Hp supply brilliant support online for if you have any issues. I had a paper jam and with the support questions I managed to sort it out within a few minutes. The WiFi printing function is brilliant, no matter what device you are using it connects and prints in a few simple steps. The only issue I have had is the email print function sometimes has issues, apart from that it's a fantastic and affordable little printer. I have included an image of the print quality, the printer was set to draft quality when I printed the page. Even on draft print it is high quality.

Mine installed smoothly out of the box. Use the HP website recommended in the instructions, and on the printer touch screen, it has all you need to know, and includes software downloads (see below). I use the printer on my home WIFI network/router, and it picked up the WIFI with no problem. I print to it from a laptop Windows 10 PC and multiple Chromebooks. The PC does not need to be switched on to print from Chromebooks or mobile devices, the printer is genuinely standalone WIFI. HP provide a free Chrome extension for Chromebooks and PC (I use Chrome browser on the PC) and an app for other devices, which enable easy local printing. You can email items to the printer for remote printing (the printer has its own email address etc). There is also free HP PC software to provide the link for scanning. You can copy cheerfully in standalone mode using the touch screen on the printer. Downsides? Paper tray may seems a touch flimsy, but works fine, and has proved robust long term. HP offer/push their ink replenishment subscription service, but you can (I did) choose not to use this on set-up and continue to buy cartridges elsewhere, you can subscribe any time. Speed, and print quality are as advertised and very adequate for my home office needs. Cost of printer and ink cartridges seem reasonable to me, but maybe not everybody.

The printer was easy to set up and start printing, (its plugged into our router), and we were printing from iPhone and laptops soon after over wifi. I've printed about 5 photos on high quality matt paper (4x6"), still looks like a budget printer, no replacement for a proper photo printer, but good enough to go on the fridge :). The ink it came with ran out after 3 weeks, approx 100 light pages - we were surprised that it ran out so quickly. The free 3-month instant ink has a big caveat: needs to be done within 7 days of setting up the printer, I missed this deadline, but have since set up for instant ink - there are many codes, some of which stack to give you multiple free months: I used 'FREEINK' & 'Tn2t8' to get 2 free months.

Wie schon der Titel andeutet, waren Drucker und ich noch nie gute Freunde. Allerdings kann man an der Zahl der Sterne sehen, dass dies bei diesem Modell anders ist. Bei diesem Modell handelt es sich um einen preisgünstigen All-in-One Drucker aus dem Hause HP. HP kenne ich schon lange, jedoch bin ich erst durch meinen Laptop wirklich darauf aufmerksam geworden. Der Laptop hatte mich positiv überrascht und aus diesem Grund griff ich auch beim Drucker wieder zu HP. Es ist ein typischer Tintenstrahldrucker mit den Funktionen Drucken, Kopieren, Scannen. Jedoch hat dieses Modell diverse Zusatzfunktionen, die nicht nur praktisch sind, sondern auch noch das übliche Drucken erleichtern! Ich rede hierbei von der WLAN-Möglichkeit und dem Vorhandensein eines kleines Displays. Ersteres erklärt sich von selbst. Man benötigt ein Kabel weniger und es lassen sich direkt alle Geräte im Haus nutzen (egal ob Rechner, Laptop, Smartphone usw.). Zweiteres ist dann schon nicht ganz so offensichtlich. Ich muss sagen, dass auch ich erst skeptisch war und mich gefragt habe: Ein Display? Wofür? Zum Einen ist die Installation dadurch kinderleicht! Ich bin definitiv kein Anfänger, im Gegenteil. Aber selbst meine Mutter (welcher ich diesen Drucker ebenfalls empfohlen hatte) war in der Lage, den Drucker ohne Anleitung oder Hilfe zu installieren. Das Display zeigt nämlich Schritt für Schritt an, was getan werden muss. Wann die Patronen leer sind, WELCHE leer sind und auf was geachtet werden muss (z.B. Abdeckung zum Scannen ist noch offen, Papierstau etc.) Die Qualität der Drucke ist unglaublich gut! Obwohl es kein reiner Fotodrucker ist, sehen die Bilder erstaunlich detailliert aus. Ich hatte mal einen Epson-Fotodrucker und der war für fast das doppelte an Euronen einfach nur grottig. Habe mal 2 Bilder vom Handy geschossen, um 2 Beispiele aufzuzeigen. Diese beiden Seiten plus eine weitere hat der Drucker locker in unter 30 Sekunden gedruckt und das ist echt top! Wenn man den Drucker länger nicht benutzt, was man bei einem Tintenstrahldrucker ohnehin nicht tun sollte, dann kann es passieren, dass die erste Seite nicht perfekt wird. Dann einfach eine weitere drucken. Was ich negativ ankreiden muss ist, dass dem Karton kein Druckerkabel beiliegt. Da ich den Drucker hauptsächlich als Hauptdrucker in meinem "Büro" nutze, sollte er direkt via Kabel mit meinem Rechner verbunden sein. Auch, weil der Rechner keine Möglichkeit hat, WLAN zu nutzen. Amazon hat aber in der Beschreibung vermerkt, dass eines dabei sei... Das sollte man unbedingt vor dem Kauf beachten. Ich selber habe von Amazon eine Entschädigung erhalten, daher wie immer: Danke Amazon! Fazit: Preis-Leistung UNGESCHLAGEN! Tolle Ergebnisse, vergleichsweise günstige Patronen und viele, nützliche Funktionen. Mit diesem Drucker kann man nicht viel falsch machen!

Después de una búsqueda exhaustiva en el universo HP no he podido encontrar una impresora donde la relación precio impresora-precio cartuchos-calidad general sea más equilibrada. Los cartuchos, tanto de color como negro, están a precio de rosquilleta (teniendo en cuenta los precios que tienen otros modelos), la calidad de impresión es excelente y el tamaño de la impresora no es excesivo. Aconsejo comprar siempre los cartuchos XL, son económicos y compensan frente a los normales, de duración escasísima. A destacar: la impresión por ambas caras, impresión WiFi y la bandeja oculta para almacenar las hojas. La velocidad de impresión, salvo cuando imprimes en color en calidad máxima que es muy lenta (por el precio no le puedes exigir más), es más que aceptable, rapidísima en modo borrador y normal. La única pega es la pantalla, quizás algo pequeña para manejarse por el menú, pero no obstante cumple. Recomendada por completo.

Installation facile et rapide sous Windows 10, très bon rapport qualité/prix, seul le niveau des cartouches descend un peu vite. Mais pour un usage privé, c'est pas grave.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem neuen Multifunktionsgerät für das Homeoffice und habe mich für dieses Gerät von HP entschieden, weil die für mich relevanten Ausstattungsmerkmale WLAN, Duplexdruck, Touchscreen gegeben sind. Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und zuverlässig wie von Amazon gewöhnt. Bei der Installation gab es keinerlei Probleme. Sie war in sehr kurzer Zeit erledigt. Viele Schritte konnte ich intuitiv erledigen, da sie von vorherigen Geräten bekannt waren. Für den Nutzer liegt ansonsten eine Beschreibung bei und auf dem Touchscreen wird auch alles angezeigt. Der Download der benötigten Software verlief ebenso reibungslos wie die Einbindung ins Netzwerk, so dass ich von allen Geräten aus drucken kann. Da ich bereits einen Account für das HP Instant Ink-Tintenprogramm besaß, war ich gespannt, wie die Anmeldung des neuen Druckers klappen würde. Auch hier gab es keine Schwierigkeiten. Das Gerät wurde erfasst und die kostenlosen Monate meinem Konto entsprechend gut geschrieben. Nach den ersten Wochen der Nutzung kann ich sagen, dass ich sehr zufrieden bin, denn die Ausdrucke erfolgen schnell und in guter Qualität. Der Drucker arbeitet leise und auch der Duplexdruck klappt einwandfrei. Ein klarer Pluspunkt ist die Papierkassette durch die gewährleistet wird, dass das Papier immer unbeeinflusst von Licht und Staub bleibt. Auch Scanner und Kopierer haben mich bislang absolut überzeugt, so dass ich das Gerät definitiv empfehlen kann.
