I have tried a number of these products and this is the best by far
I have quite a large over-bite, so the fact that you can adjust the lower section to push your bottom jaw forward is a big benefit. This opens up my airways when asleep and prevents my snoring. I have tried a number of these products and this is the best by far. I accept some of the other reviews - I have a big mouth (!) so it fits really snuggly. As well as helping my partner to sleep, it hugely improves the quality of my sleep too. Didn't need the nasal attachments. Anyone not sure about the cause of their snoring (there are many), the quiz on the British Snoring website is really informative and helps you get the best product. Good luck!

May not be suitable if you have a small mouth
I liked the sound of this product because of the fact it would be adjustable. I have purchased several other non-sliding mouth guards previously but thought I'd try this one next. This one seemed very wide, almost too wide to physically fit in my mouth (however I acknowledge I am a woman with a tiny mouth) but I went ahead and moulded it anyway. Not only was it so bulky in my mouth but the edges of the rigid sliding tray were so hard/kind of sharp (and the adjustment buttons at the back) that when I placed it in my mouth I felt like it would easily shred the insides of my cheeks even just by resting on it.Apart from this which may just be because it's too big for me I also notice that even after playing with it for a couple of minutes the mouldable plastic has come away from the hard plate at the back ends and the ratchet has loosened quite a lot so I'm not convinced it would have a very good life span.I can't say if it would work well as it is not suitable for me at all.

No - because one of our dogs has taken a like to it
This is now the third time I've had to buy this mouth guard. Why? Because it's a piece of rubbish? No - because one of our dogs has taken a like to it, chews the life out of it and eats the malleable bits. So, a word of warning - don't let your dogs near it! It's a great piece of kit and does the job most of the time. Yes, it doesn't feel natural or comfortable before you fall asleep and when you wake up but if you are serious about controlling your snoring then it's a good bet.

WOW!!!
It will take a few nights to get used to having this in your mouth, but if you are a throat snorer like me, it is well worth persisting! Please see attached pictures.

silent sleep
Works really well.Easy to follow instructions. After some initial discomfort (basically learning to fall asleep with this in your mouth) it's easy to use. I don't make any noise at all when sleeping where as before one of us would end up retiring downstairs on the sofa. It's a marriage saver.

Good for the odd occasion
These do work and are very robust, the trouble with them is the size of the unit itself. I am over well over 6ft and quite well built and I can fit the mouth piece in quite easily. After use for 4-5 days my jaw started to click when I ate food and I got shooting pains when the jaw "Clicked" sometimes if it was a bad one. I spoke recently to a dentist and took the mouth piece in and she was horrified at the gap made between the teeth and said that as it wasn't a custom fit it could cause misalignment or movement of my jaw. So all in all they work but not as a permanent solution.

It works
It works well, but won't fix everybody's snoring because we all do it for different reasons. The only complaint is that if you don't wash it regularly it reeks. Badly. Of rotten fish (no joke!). I stick mine in sterident once in a while, and rinse thoroughly on other days. I have bought two of these.

I couldn't sleep with it in.
I think I suffer from a bit of sleep apnoea that makes me tired and I really gave this a good go because I wanted it to help. I followed the instructions correctly and it made a good mould that fit nice and snug around my teeth but when I tried it I couldn't sleep with it in and I tried every night for a week before giving up. There's just too much stuff in your mouth, it felt like my tongue had nowhere to go and it was uncomfortable on the the inside of my cheek after a while. From the picture here is looks like there is plenty of room but after you bite down on it to set it up the gap in the middle reduces right down.
