A thoughtful gift that truly made her hair shine — vibrant color and great moisture
I gifted the dpHUE Gloss+ in Copper to my girlfriend after she mentioned wanting brighter, healthier-looking hair without high maintenance, and it has been a big hit. The first time she used it, I instantly noticed how much more vibrant and glossy her color looked — it really brought out warmth and shine in her copper tones. ✔ What we loved • Beautiful, natural shine: The gloss added a luminous finish that made her hair look healthier and more vibrant without looking overly processed. • Hydrating without heaviness: Her hair felt soft and moisturized afterward, not weighed down or greasy — even after 48+ hours. • Easy to apply at home: She didn’t need any special tools or salon visit — the application was simple and the instructions were clear, which made it ideal for a gift. • Long-lasting subtle enhancement: The color boost and shine lasted several washes, giving her hair extra life between salon appointments. ❤️ Why it was a great gift She mentioned how much she appreciated the extra dimension it gave to her natural tones, and even weeks later she still gets compliments on how healthy and glossy her hair looks. It’s one of those products that feels a bit luxurious but is easy enough to use regularly — perfect for someone who likes beautiful results without complicated routines. ⭐ Final Verdict The dpHUE Gloss+ in Copper was a wonderful, thoughtful gift that delivered real results: richer color, brilliant shine, and softer hair. If you’re looking for something that boosts natural tone and adds gloss with minimal effort, this is a great choice. ✔ Highly recommended for gifting or everyday hair enhancement — especially for colored or dull hair seeking a healthy glow.

Gives gray hair a subtle blondish look and shimmer!
While they say it doesn't cover gray hair, it does! I have total gray/white hair around my face, gray streaks and dark brown elsewhere, and had been coloring my hair blondish for years. Now I only use a small amount of this in the shower daily and work through my hair, leaving for 5-10 minutes. It gives me a shimmery blondish look, vs. stark white. . . more like highlights. I started years ago with medium blond but progressed to medium brown and it works perfect. Saves me time and money, still on the same bottle after six months. I've received so many compliments. Worth a try?! (Note: If your hair turns brackish, just use purple shampoo once in a while during grow-out of your previous blonde color.

LOVE this product!! Some tips for best results…
I was very hesitant to buy this product due to the mixed reviews, but I decided to go for it and I’m so glad I did! First two pics are before and second are after. Shown in indirect and direct sunlight. My hair is naturally dark blonde and I used the strawberry gloss. I have the tiniest hit of red, but it can only be seen in direct sunlight. My goal was to intensify that hint of red and become a true strawberry blonde, and I was also open to being a true redhead. I almost went for the copper color, and I know that many of the bad reviews are with that color. If you have any shade of blonde or maybe even light brown hair and want somewhat subtle results, I’d recommend going with strawberry over copper. There are a few factors that I think contribute to a beautiful result with this product. 1. Virgin hair - my hypothesis for why some people experience patchy results is differing porosities of hair texture on the same head. I bleached my hair for many years, and I don’t think this product is ideal for that texture. I stopped about 4 years ago and have now fully grown out and cut off any color-treated hair. 2. Ensuring an exfoliated scalp and fully clean hair - it seems like some folks were left with vivid roots and a dyed scalp. At least every other time I wash my hair, I use a scalp scrub before shampooing. I then use a clarifying shampoo focusing on the scalp and roots, rinse it out, and then a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo on both the roots and lengths of my hair. I only use the clarifying shampoo when I am about to apply a hair treatment. The other times I shampoo twice with the same gentle shampoo. Before I started using a scalp scrub, I didn’t think I had much product/oil build-up, but it has been an absolute game changer in my routine. But that’s a review for another day lol. 3. Be intentional and thorough with application - I personally wouldn’t recommend putting this product into your hair while you’re still in the shower like you would with conditioner like some other reviewers have said. I do scalp scrub, double shampoo, and then the rest of my shower routine. After I get out and dry off, I squeeze excess water out of my hair by scrunching with a cotton turban, but a t-shirt would be just as good. I then section my hair into quadrants and make sure I thoroughly saturate each section and comb through it with a wide-toothed comb before moving on to the next section. I use gloves for this step. Once I’m done, I comb it all out again to ensure every strand is coated evenly. Then I put my hair up in a big claw clip. 4. Saturation time - the first time I used this product, I only left it in for about 10 minutes, maybe less, as I was terrified I would experience overly pigmented, patchy results. I am relieved that was not the case, but leaving the product in for that short of a time gave me very, very subtle results. The next few times I have extended the leave-in time to 15-30 minutes and have liked the result more the longer I leave it in before rinsing. 5. Rinsing - after the product has had time to sit, I get back in the shower and thoroughly rinse. I have not noticed the color coming out at all in the water like some have said. I have only used the strawberry gloss, so that may be a factor, but I also think rinsing with cool/cold water helps. I don’t add conditioner after rinsing out the gloss, but I do put in the leave-in conditioner I always use after a wash and then style as usual. I know this was very long-winded, but I hope someone finds it helpful, whether you are considering buying this product or already bought it and were disappointed with your results. I have applied this 3, maybe 4, times now and have only used about a third of the bottle. For context, my hair goes past my shoulders and is slightly thicker than average. I use about 3 pumps per section of hair. I wash my hair every 5 days, so I get about a month of noticeable color per application. I will definitely keep using this product for the foreseeable future. Wishing you wonderful results!

Subtle hair color, effective gloss, deep moisturizer and non-damaging product.
Let me start with some background about my hair to put my experience with the dpHUE hair color in perspective. I have naturally medium brown hair. To say that my hair is thin and fine is an understatement. It is spiderweb fine! I went blonde about a decade ago, which substantially damaged my hair. I have been dying it medium brown for the past couple of years. I have lots of grays. I had experienced significant stress and hormones related hair loss in the past several years. I am pretty paranoid about trying new hair colors as I'm always afraid of the damage and the potential trigger for another hair shed. I had this dpHUE hair color/gloss in my Amazon cart for a couple of months. I just could not get myself to try it as I have not colored my hair at home for over 20 years. But the salon trips are expensive, more frequent because of all my grays and cause me anxiety every single time. So I talked my coworker into trying this product as she is very adventurous with her hair and will try pretty much anything. She reported back that the product left her hair feeling silky and shiny but didn't do much for her color as her hair is naturally dark brown/almost black. I was encouraged about the fact that the product was not damaging and decided to try it. I was between the cool medium brown and light brown. I decided to go a little lighter at first and went with the light brown. First of all, this product is very easy to apply and rinse off. It leaves a little bit of tint on your hands, which is gone after a couple of washes. Next time, I'll just wear gloves. I was extremely nervous the first time so I left it on for only 10 minutes. I applied it on damp hair as instructed. I combed it with a fine tooth comb to make sure it was evenly spread. I noticed maybe a tiny change in color but honestly not much. It left my hair shiny and silky smooth though. And most of all, no itching, shedding or damage. I went to the reviews to learn that some have used it on dry hair and left it on longer for deeper color and gray coverage. I wasn't sure how soon I can reapply but decided to just do it the very next day. I applied it to dry hair. I do have to say that it was harder to smooth it over my hair and it was a bit messier. I left it on for 15 minutes. Again, no damage and silky smooth hair. I saw a noticeable change in color and at least 80% of my grays got covered. I am going to switch to the cool medium brown. Even though I am very happy with how this product treated my hair, the color just does not look great on me. I prefer cooler tones and the light brown definitely pulls more bronze/red. It is a very pretty color, just not for me. Some of the reviews said the product is too expensive. For me, if I use it for at least 15 minutes to get the desired results, it is definitely worth the price with the estimated 8 to 12 applications. I highly recommend the dpHUE hair color/gloss. It is really a great product so don't wait months like me and just do it.

This is a beautiful gloss!
I love the effect this has on my dark blonde/light brown hair naturally curly hair. I leave it on for 30 mins and wallah, gorgeous toasted caramel dimensional color! I'm 47 and this sticks to the silver at my temples for about 3 washes, and lingers on the rest for 7-8 washdays with no noticeable change in my curl pattern besides having less frizz. I will say it does turn the silver peachy temporarily but it fades nicely.

Natural results
Left photo is after, right photo is before. I'm a natural ginger and heard that people in the redhead community like this product. I just wanted to give my hair a subtle boost since it is winter and my hair gets dull from not being outside as much. I got strawberry since my hair looks similar to that color in the summer. It takes a lot of product to coat your hair and I feel like it washed completely out the next time I showered, but it did boost the color in a really natural way. I think next time I would try copper or a mix of strawberry and copper to see if it stays in my hair longer. I still prefer how Overtone's color lasts longer, but I prefer how this has a more natural looking end result. My wavy hair felt very soft afterwards too. I would recommend this product I just wished it lasted longer in my hair.

Orange scalp but shiny hair
I don’t think I’d say this a deep conditioner as it left my hair feeling very dry (will definitely follow it next time with an actual conditioner). I bought the dark brown and it left my scalp an orange color which is odd and unattractive. It did make my hair shiny and darker while leaving my grays as is (permanent dye doesn’t stick anymore so this is a good compromise to make the rest of my hair slightly darker as I prefer while leaving the grays and learning to love them). I think I may purchase the black and mix the two colors to see if I can eliminate the orange.

Good for bringing back warmth to my hair color
I have naturally dark blonde hair with quite a bit of silver/white hair coming in, especially at the temples. The gray comes through like platinum highlights so I can typically go a long while between salon appointments, where I brighten up some bits and add warm low lights. As the lowlights fade, my hair tone can look ashy which doesn’t suit my coloring - it washes me out. To prolong time between salon visits, my stylist recommended using this product. It has worked out really well, adding warmth back in and color to the temples (the white hair makes it look like I have a receding hairline there). I use both Medium Blonde and Light Brown colors. I do a 7 (blonde) to 3 (brown) ratio. I mix it up together and apply to DRY hair before my shower. I concentrate on the roots and temples and then move the product all the way down to the ends so it’s all fully saturated. I clip it up and wait about 10 minutes. Then I wash it out, shampoo and condition as normal. It brings warmth back to my hair color and makes the hair around my temples more visible. My hair is shoulder length and fairly fine so I don’t use a lot: probably 21 pumps of Medium Blonde and 9 pumps of light brown. I do this about every 10 to 14 days, paying attention to consistent coverage and where I want to bring more color out. I used to use only the Medium Blonde and did it in the shower as the instructions said but it never seemed to deposit color like I wanted. This method works out much better for me. These aren’t drastic results - just enough to keep me from looking washed out, especially in the winter.

Abit overpriced for the results
It's ok , I wanted it to tone down some blonde highlights I've half grown out , they have turned them a warm caramel Blonde which is ok , wouldn't say there dark blonde but still looks better than did before, it's Abit expensive for the results I got .

Easy to use & beautiful results!
Love it! I had a grown out balayage that was uneven and wanted to go back to my natural colour. I used the dark brown colour and kept it on for 15 mins on wet hair and it was perfect!! Love the look and feel, kept the dimension and didn’t go black! Have so much product left so it’ll be good for a refresh in a few weeks.

Perfect for making hair a little darker (not black tho)
left it for 30 min. perfect for when u wanna make your hair a little darker. I boxed dyed my hair a while ago and it left a yello-orangey tint I could not remove (rough especially under certain lighting) and tried all the different blue and purple mask and it wouldn't do enough to get rid of it. This black gloss is a dream and I barely see the orange now! maybe should have put more or left it for longer but it's a million times better. Hair went from light orange brown to nice dark cooler brown.

Great results!
I LOVE it. Perfect for adding some life and shine back to red hair with copper tones. Really, it's great. Very hydrating as well. I'll see how it holds up to the more frequent washes over summer, but great price for the amount you get. I have hair that goes halfway down my back and I really didn't need much to fully cover it all. It says 8 washes per use, and I still think I'll make it all summer at least with one bottle. It does stain your hands, but if you wash with soap and water it comes out no problem. I only left it on for about 5 minutes and still see the results (it recommends 3-20). I heard that if you mix 2-3 pumps with your shampoo in between uses, it greatly extends the lifespan between full uses so I'll try that too.
