Really good. I chuck some in with every bag of compostable stuff from the kitchen. Handy size and lasts a long time.

Didn’t do a great job in decomposing materials completely.

Keep it dry during storage
Have previously used this product (in Neudorff composter) since purchase 2+ years ago, so in my experience lasts well. Height of compost pile noticeably lower after a few days, so presumably working. Compost output this spring was good.

Does the job better than worms
Within a few days of sprinkling the pellets onto the compost, the whole surface of the material is covered in a fluff of fungi. That's what I expected to see. This is the real stuff - not some chemicals that make up what is missing but still expect the microorganisms to magically appear, which is what most accelerators are.The strange thing is its effect on worms.Our compost used to be full of the little red worms that break up compost. They generally work fairly slowly, but seeing them in the compost suggests that something is happening. Within hours of putting in this compost accelerator, the worms were leaving - and I mean they were crawling out of the compost, up the sides of the bin and out! They can't survive in normal garden soil so they certainly didn't like something!I've also found a use for slugs and snails - instead of trying to kill them, I put them into the compost to munch it up. The idea is that they can put their little teeth to doing something useful instead of chomping up our green plants, and then they can die there and contribute. Once again, with the compost accelerator in place, they seem to die rather quicker and don't seem to be able to exit the way the worms do.

Great product
Great product and have help my compost heap produce excellent organic fertiliser. Easy to use and recommend this product if you want to creat good compost. Highly recommended this product

Bit early to say if it works but there does not seem to be any difference in the height of the compost bin contents. (Maybe we need to stop adding to it)....
