Men's Genuine Leather Belt- Ratchet Black Dress Belt for Men with Automatic Buckle. (Up to Size 46, Black With Buckle #05)

This is a high quality sweet smelling leather belt for a great price. The size is adjustable and at first it looks a little daunting but its really easy to cut/trim the belt to fit any waist size.YOUTUBE has some great videos. Simply determine the length you want by slipping it through your pant loops. When you find the right length, cut off the end square with kitchen shears. On the inside of the buckle is a small ¾” X ¾” metal square that you flip open – it will show a set of sharp teeth. These teeth will hold the end of the cut belt. Slide it into the end of the belt and close the square tightly. It will hold firmly.Then wrap the other end around your waist and into the other end of the buckle. You will notice that the inside of the belt will make a ratcheting sound as it slides through the belt. This secures the belt to whatever waist length you want – a little tighter or a little looser. To unhook the belt, there is a small lever that you turn to loosen the belt to release. High quality for a reasonable price.

Overall, great belt. Leather strap is high quality, and the ratchet grooves on the back seem strong and will probably stand the test of time. The buckle itself is heavy and also high quality. The release mechanism works great! It looks very nice. Well worth the price at a fraction of most department store belts.

I was not really expecting to like this belt, but there's not many areas where it didn't deliver. Most importantly it fit (i'm a big guy). The ratchet adjusts properly and after figuring out how to release a fastened belt it was easy to use. I think it's actually leather and seems durable enough to last more than a few years while retaining it's look. The gold is the only question. I have a feeling this is where it may flake off, but i can't say for sure. Overall i'm pleased with this belt.

There was what appeared to be 3/4” IOC thread at the edge of the belt that wasn’t black , kind of looks like a scratch . I used a black mark on it looks good. I didn’t feel like mailing it back. Other then that the belt is fine.

this is the third ratchet belt i have bought and this is the best - the buckle is solid brass and looks extremely durable - i ordered one larger than i needed so i could trim it correctly - this one had 1/2 inch marks on the inside which it made it very easy to calculate where to cut - just so you don't cut too much, add a couple inches to what you need so if you cut wrong, you have a second chance

The black center is very easy to scratch. There must be brass under the black and the black paint scratches off very easily. It even had some brass showing thru the black when I received it. The leather seems to be good quality and the brass buckle is of a good quality. I ended up in 2 days buying another belt and will have to use this as a work outdoor belt. I work in an office so I am not a exposing the belt an abrasive environment.

I really like these belts. They fit very nicely and you're never stuck between holes.

Nice looking belt. The leather has a stiff feel to it and was hoping for more supple feeling leather. I just received it, therefore it might wear in and become softer; but it has a plastic quality to it. The belt mechanism works well new and I am hoping the plastic notches will last - I will see.
