Is the clip very strong? I have thin, medium length hair and would like to spin a bun and clip it. Think it would hold?

Hi Alicia, you should be okay. I have thick hair and while the clip holds when I do this type of bun, the side with the beak tends to get loose/fall out after a little while. With thinner hair I think you'd be good!

How do I use this clip?

The best way I have found is to pull your hair back like in a pony tail, twist it up to the top of your head and use the clip to secure ends and part of twist. Similar to a french roll style or a bun. Great for the gym, doing work where your hair needs to be out of the way. The top part of the clip sticks out and can be decorated if desired. http://classroom.synonym.com/use-duck-bill-roller-clips-20387.html

Would this clip my bangs out of the way when I study? I have thick Asian hair around nose length.

there great for everything to do with hair.

Do they pull/pinch your hair?

I find them very comfortable. They don’t pull any more than a pony tail. They are more like clips that hold your hair in place.
