Would this fit a dunelm blackout blind. i don't have the tube diameter, it was fitted somewhere else. has anyone used it for a dunelm blind? thanks

Not used a Dunelm blind but replacement mechanism kit is ok for my (25mm) white blackout blind (Peter Jones store) - when you remove old mech measure the tube diameter - I've only used the 25mm but there may be other sizes - if mech ok for your tube you may have to file .5mm off the ribs of the mech to get it to insert properly.. take care! - when fitting it lay out the blind half unrolled and check the chain's link is at the bottom of its run so the blind can roll up and down fully..

Does this come with full instructions?

No it doesnt .but it so easy to take out the old ones on your blinds and put the new one in that is all you do .

Are these fittings universal? Can they be used with all srandard roller blinds?

I would think so, I ordered mine simply because I needed a replacement chain (to replace a broken plastic chain) and it worked well. I would expect the set to work with any roller blind set as all the ones I've installed have the same tube diameter.

Can this be used on a 2.1m drop blind?

I have it fitted on a 1 and 3/4 mtr drop black out blind which is heavier material than a standard blind and have had no problems with the operation of the blind in a year and a half. But I made sure the fixings were attached very securely. I have no idea how heavy your blind is but if you make sure the fixings are secure you shouldn't have a problem as the brackets and fittings are really good quality and the operational pulley is smooth, with a metal ball pull cord.
