Good value, suitable quality - but no seatbelt
Wanted a good value but reasonably robust wheelchair to take my 87 year old mother to medical appointments, shopping, or around the village; and this seemed to fill the bill. Ordered it on Friday morning and it was delivered (for free) on Monday lunchtime! Wow! Disappointments: Slightly dificult to open out the first time as it had got squashed together in transit, but really easy to fold and unfold now. One of the front tyres arrived slightly damaged, but hope it will be OK and not tear away ... will have to keep an eye on it. The biggest "fault" with the chair is that there is no seat belt - surprising in this health-and-safety conscious day and age. I recently took a 90 year old neighbour to hospital in her own wheelchair, and we struck an inch high kerb across the wheelchair route (!!!) - whereupon the wheelchair stopped abruptly but the occupant didn't. Oops! So we have bought a separate seatbelt for my mother's chair, which gives us both more confidence. The footrests seemed very unbalanced, but improved when my mother repositioned herself, as the wheelchair frame isn't rigid. (They are still slightly different heights, but she says no longer enough to bother her.) My mother was reluctant to get a wheelchair, but after being lent one for a recent hospital visit, decided one would be useful. We made our maiden voyage to meet friends at the local pub a day after the chair was delivered, and my mother found it comfortable enough even without additional cushion. Good points: not too heavy for lifting into the car; footrests are quick and easy to slot on / lift off; back folds in half so that the handles fold down and do not protrude too much and thus it is easy to fit into a car when folded. As I have a slight walking problem myself, I find foot brakes difficult to use, so particularly like the hand operated parking brakes on the wheelchair handles. It remains to be seen how well the chair will last, but for now it seems robust enough for our purposes. Great on flat hospital floors; adequate on a slightly uneven pavements - but I wouldn't want to use it on cobbled streets or country walks! I would have given four and a half stars if I could: four seemed mean in view of the chair's many good points, but five feels over-generous in view of the (mostly minor) shortcomings. Most serious gripe is the lack of a seatbelt.

Quality Without Compromise
I purchased this wheelchair for my Mum who has Osteoporosis and is unable to walk more than a few metres. As I have arthritis myself, I was looking for a chair that was lightweight, easy to manoeuvre and fold up to lift into the car boot. Having looked at many others I settled on this one because it looked uncomplicated and good quality as well as being very reasonably priced. Most of all it is from a small UK retailer which is important to me rather than all the cheap and tacky imports currently flooding the market. Unusual these days but it exceeded my expectations, I was absolutely thrilled with it and my Mum (who usually finds fault with everything ;-) ) even commented how comfortable it was, didn't even need any cushions. This, along with the excellent communications and speedy delivery in less than a day, means that I cannot recommend this wheelchair or the company it came from highly enough.

Good value
Very comfortable I've not been out in it yet . It's a decent size but will navigate reasonably small areas lifts corridors ect. I'm average size and suits me perfectly The tyres are solid so I'm expecting it to be a bit of a bumpy ride on gravel ect . But it's perfect for hospital appointments and shopping trips . I have a gel cushion I will put in it. Has a good breaking system I'm really pleased with it . Visually looks smart I like the fact it's mine and no one else has been sitting in it.

An excellent wheelchair at an amazing price!!!
UPDATE. I first reviewed this wheelchair over 2 years ago so I thought I'd come back and give you folk an update on how it's performing! Any problems? Just one really, one of the side panels broke where it fixes to the frame and, although I could have asked for a replacement, we actually prefer the chair without the panels! Otherwise the chair has performed as expected and, unlike other reviewers, I find the brakes are well up to the job. Since my original review my sister-in-law was sadly diagnosed with breast cancer and this has resulted in many trips to the Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton. Anyone who knows this fantastic hospital will be aware of how steep the approach to the upper car park is, yet the brakes can handle it in wet or dry conditions. Mention has been made of the 'wobbly' front wheels problem, but I found this easily sorted by carefully tightening them using a socket and spanner. Just don't overdo it! Maintenance wise I give all fixings a quick check every 2 or 3 months and keep it clean. Overall I must say that the wheelchair, for me, has proved to be great value for money and I stand by my earlier review (see below). Tony My sister-in-law suffers from COPD, osteoporosis and osteoarthritis and as a result she is housebound and totally dependent on me and my wife to get out and about. We needed a wheelchair that was light, sturdy, manoeuvrable, easy to fold and, of course, comfortable. When I first started researching wheelchairs it soon became obvious that it's a veritable minefield out there. Trawling through umpteen mobility sites and going to various retail outlets, I found I was looking at prices of £250 plus if I was going to get all the required features. Then it was time to take a look at the equipment Amazon sellers were offering. Looking at the positive reviews for this chair it soon grabbed my interest, but I felt there must be a catch when it's selling at under £100! So I thought, let's see what's on offer and if it ticks all the boxes. Well it did so I bought it and, although I went for standard delivery, it arrived in only 4 days and was very well packed. The build quality is great, as is the paint finish. I do a lot of vehicle fabrication/welding and appreciate quality workmanship. The footrests are fitted in seconds, are adjustable and provide ample support and comfort. The excellent braking is 2 stage, with conventional lift up levers for normal use whilst pushing down on the same levers securely locks the wheels. Within five minutes it was open, footrests were fitted, and my sister-in-law was seated and looking forward to the maiden voyage! Although lightweight, the chair feels sturdy and rides our diabolical, pot-holed pavements with ease. The larger rear wheels make it easier to push over rough ground, so I am able to negotiate the local park. The superb brakes mean that even steep hills aren't a problem, and once locked the chair 'ain't goin nowhere'! Because my sister-in-law weighs in at just seven and a half stone I have added a cushion and a seat belt. These keep her comfortable and secure over even the roughest ground. In conclusion I would simply like to say that if your wheelchair needs are similar to mine then buy this model with confidence.

Lightweight
Purchased this wheelchair as an extra for my son who uses a wheelchair from wheelchair services, this chair is easy to fold up, and to open, it’s quite lightweight and easier to lift into a car, the size when folded is also great and again fits easily into the car, the wheelchair does not come with a lap belt so needs to be purchased separately which I did then fitted to the chair in less than 5 minutes, the company sent the chair very quickly and arrived way before the date stated which was another bonus, they emailed for additional info so we could get VAT exemption and again so easy and quick to do this, The chair holds a max 18kg which is quite a bit of weight, it’s not small and my son has plenty of room to move about whilst sat in it, overall so far a 10/10, I’ve not yet tried it out and about but will be using for holiday as it’s less bulky and so much lighter than my sons chair from wheelchair services

Fantastic chair and seller
Cannot speak highly enough of this chair. We had a problem with opening it but this was down to courier mishandling. However the seller could not do more to help. We were well out of warranty but within two days we had a replacement. You can trust this seller 100%. Excellent communication and we rate them very highly. Buy with confidence from Fenetic Wellbeing.

La silla esta muy bien. Ligera y manejable. Aunque no me gustan las ruedas delanteras q son muy duras y he echado de menos un freno cuando dejas parada la silla en algún lado, sobre todo cuesta abajo... me pare en un escaparate y por poco me quedó sin madre!!!

It is well-built, beautiful, and not very heavy.
This is the fourth wheelchair I've ordered on Amazon. The first lasted 2 years and lost one of the front wheels while I was out with my mom. Thankfully, there were kind friends and family that helped us out of the situation. Because of that experience, I was looking for a chair with more reliable wheels for outdoor use that could stand extended use around town. I did a lot of research and tried finding one that would be on the lighter side, but still sturdy. I tried out a few but one was too low to the ground and the other did not offer enough support for my mom to hold onto while trying to get into the chair. I ended up returning them. I was losing hope of finding a good chair so I waited a while on the next one and prayed on it. Thankfully, the Lord heard my prayers. My mom loved the vibrant blue of this chair and I love the sturdy wheels, the handbreaks, and how it isn't any heavier than the cheaper transport chair she was using before. It really is a good-looking chair and I am really happy with it. I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a chair for their loved one. 100% love it.

Leggera e resistente
