AMW004 Angel Mobility Lightweight Aluminum Folding Transit Travel Wheelchair Net Carry Weight Only 11kg

We bought this after a major health crisis that ended up with a 6 week stay in hospital. After being discharged it was impossible to move around unassisted, so to make life easier we bought this to use in the home. It proved to be invaluable, saving my carer having to lift me / carry me to where I needed to be. It was also more comfortable than being hefted around by someone. It is a transit wheelchair without the big wheels which makes it lighter and a lot easier to manoeuvre around the home. Also because it folds up it doesn't take a huge amount of space for storing. Note that a transit wheelchair cannot be self propelled by the user, it requires a second person to push it (for those new to wheelchairs). We also use it for appointments, simply fold it up and it fits nicely in the back seats of our Fabia. It will fit in the boot, but is harder to lift in and out over the lip of the boot of our car. On arrival it's quick and easy to remove from the car, unfold, attach footrests and off we go. There are handbrake, one for each wheel, push/pull to press the brake against the tyre or release it. It does flex while in use which is part of its nature I think and not a reflection on the quality of it's build. It came assembled, with only the footrests needing to be inserted in place and the handles flipped into position. We bought it at the beginning of February this year for a very reasonable price. Although we have since bought a self-propelled wheelchair as well, this one is still in use for medical appointments as it is the easier of the two wheelchairs for this purpose, so there are no regrets in its purchase. Overall very pleased with it and feel it was a good value for money purchase.

My husband and I are really impressed with this very well made, sturdy and lightweight wheelchair. Very easy to manoeuvre and push, my husband finds it very comfortable. We love that the handles pop down & the footrests are very easy to take on and off, taking up less room in the boot of our car, where it fits perfectly. It has everything you need, with the seatbelt, footrest supports, handbrakes, a very handy storage pocket on the back of the seat. Our last wheelchair had big wheels & was slightly heavier which was difficult to get in and out of the car, so finding this one was much needed. I can highly recommend both this wheelchair and this superb company. When someone suffers with a disability it's so nice when things run smoothly. The delivery was excellent within 24hrs. I was forced to use this when waiting for a hip op, it was a long wait. It’s lightweight, easily folds to be put into the back of a car and, once fitted with a cushion, is very comfy. It gave me a chance to get out with hubby when otherwise I would have been confined to the home. It’s sturdy and good value for the price. I’ve been very pleased with it.

tHIS WHEELCHAIR IS BRILLIANT. I have only had it one day but I can tell you that I already love it. It's very managable because of the weight, stable (WHICH IS IMPORTANT ) nothing fancy about it, just what I need. I am most impressed by how well made it is and very compact.

This appears to be well made and strong. It's easy to fold and reopen. We've bought a cushion for the seat. It's a strudy wheel chair and we are very pleased with it. Only negative point and this could be the same for all the helds are slightly low. But the user is 100% comfortable. Brakes are on hgd handles whichis great and both sides.

Was happy with the delivery, very easy to set up. One of the reasons I bought it was it comes with a belt great safety aspect as my son has no awareness of danger. I bought this for my 16 yrs old son who has some issues with walking. He is slim build and very tall about 5ft 9 . I was worried about the size he maybe slim but he has very long legs. I have not had any issues with this . I need to get used to getting the chair up and down the Curbs but other than that very happy with the new chair. You can get a pad for the seat mine is on order but you do have to buy separate.

Bought this for my mum, she loves it, very comfortable, and feels safer with the seat belt, dad found this easy to move in and out of car, for transport
