Buy The Curated Closet: Discover Your Personal Style and Build Your Dream Wardrobe 1 by Rees, Anuschka (ISBN: 9780753545850) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Loved it - inspiring and practical - I loved this book. I've been trying for years to put together a capsule wardrobe...in fact it's become a bit of a family joke as my wardrobe seems to expand every time I attempt it. I also feel that I've lost something of my own style in the process. Whilst the French style is chic, dare I say that, I also find it a bit boring. Anyway this book has helped me to rediscover my own sense of style and surprisingly I have many of the right 'ingredients' already in my wardrobe just waiting to be put together differently. I'm also holding off buying the missing 'ingredients' until I find the right ones...I will no longer compromise on quality, fit and comfort. Like with all good formulas, they seem obvious once you've read them, but I think this book will make a huge difference to how I will shop, look and feel from now onwards. And hopefully the capsule wardrobe jokes will end 😁 Review: it gives you the tools to curate the closet you'll use and be in love with for a long time - This book was a well laid out, step by step guide to discovering your style that streamlines your vision whilst tailoring it to your personality and lifestyle. Although it is a time consuming process that is not handed to you on a plate, it gives you the tools to curate the closet you'll use and be in love with for a long time. It gives you a guide to choosing high quality, lasting pieces in your wardrobe which is a priceless addition to any style advice book. I'd recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat.

Great book
Have found this book has helped me review my style and plan my outfits. I have made better purchases that I have worn lots already and integrated with my style favourites. I am now planning my purchases and taking photos of my favourite outfits.

Excellent!
For someone who hates shopping as much as I do, this book was great. Really opened my eyes to the mistakes I've been making buying clothes - helped me to get rid of all those things I don't really like but was wearing anyway, and to know what to go and look for to fill the gaps. Honestly cannot recommend it enough.

Hands down, the best style book
It's a book I keep referring to, two years in. It's really helped me identify my style, lifestyle needs and purchasing priorities. It's saved me a lot of money!

Good read but nothing groundbreaking
Good read if you're not heard of the concept of sustainability but otherwise nothing groundbreaking and at times too lengthy. If you've got any sense of personal style, it's not of much help.

Really helpful, thorough, practical and worth every penny.
Wonderful, engaging and practical guide, I’m loving it. Only half way through and I’ve already recognised that half my clothes don’t suit my current style and am selling them on with no regrets. Love this book. Helps you to understand your style and buying triggers and helps with sensible spending and only buying to fill gaps in your wardrobe.

then looking at what you'd really like to wear
I have tried several books along the lines of "shake up your wardrobe and look better" but this wins. be prepared for a long process of really analysing what you wear (daily selfies) and why - to figure out current situation; then looking at what you'd really like to wear; then trying it all on to see if it suits you (more selfies). I haven't got to the end of the process yet (I hate shopping and trying on clothes) but I am much clearer in how I look now, what I want to look like, and what suits me.

This book is so much better than I imagined. It is very inspiring and goes in-depth about cultivating your own personal style, regardless of what you're into wearing. It gives, practical shopping tips and styling recommendations. This book is helpful even if you are only interested in a few topics. She even has a simple way of helping you decide which chapters will be the most helpful, based on why you bought the book. Most importantly, it got me excited enough to actually clean out my closet. I ended up getting rid of a ton of clothes months ago, and I haven't regretted selling/giving away even one piece. Additionally, I didn't know I needed an office capsule wardrobe (Chapter 12), but now that I have one, it has been a game changer. Great layout, loaded with information, straightforward and easy to read.
