This is a great product to make your engine look new. It’s a bit expensive and the product doesn’t go far. I had to use two full bottles for my little Mini Cooper but the engine looks great!

This product has a permanent spot on my detailing shelf. I used this product on a 1984 Honda ATC to breathe life back into its finish and I have had nothing but compliments and great experiences with it. I am at the count of 4 trips on the trails and this product is still holding strong. Dirt, dust and even mud release from treated surfaces with ease. Even high temp engine components hold true to this. Very Satisfied with this product.

Spray, then wait. That's it. Do. Not. Wipe. Just let it sit.It sprays a little heavy, so its difficult to get an even coat. Some areas there's a puddle, while spot next to it dry. It'd be better if they could make it spray more of a mist. I suppose its just too thick for that.Just spray several light coats. Don't try to complete it 2 coats like the directions say. Instead spray several light coats, not trying to get full coverage each time. Do wait the 20 min between coats that instructions state.Don't wipe up any puddles. Just wait a good 24 hours. It settles out.

Keeps you engine looking new

Worked great. Less is more with this product; I ended up having to wipe a bit where it pooled on some plastic engine parts, but that was expected. Great shine and dry to the touch.

This product is the greatest invention since sliced bread! You do need to start with a clean engine (new car in my case) for maximum benefit. Motor Kote dries to a durable yet invisible coating that seems unaffected by water, and keeps everything clean and neat. At first, I worried about the product pooling at low points on the engine and looking "plastic" but this does not happen. Motor Kote dries on a cold engine, in about an hours time with a matt finish and doesn't look or feel artificial or plastic-like. It does help that my car's engine compartment is "sealed" at the bottom by a plastic belly pan which keeps dust and road spray off the engine.

First time I have used this product, but tried it based on reviews. As a person who does a lot of car detailing, I so far have not been impressed. I applied the product exactly as instructions said initially doing two coats. After letting it dry for 24 hours, there were still some areas that appeared dull. The motor was resprayed again and allowed to dry. After three days of driving in dry weather, some areas still needed a re-touch. Thus, four coats over 7 days has yielded a satisfactory result. However, it has not dried completely -- has remained a bit tacky. Will be curious to see how long this lasts. It should be noted that my vehicle had not been previously treated with anything in the last year -- thus there is nothing on the plastic parts that could have interfered. It was thoroughly cleaned prior to application. Will be curious to see how long this lasts......not sure I would buy again at this point.

This stuff works great. I used it on faded black plastic on my truck and when it dried up it looks brand new. I was shocked how great of a job it did.
