Instructions could be clearer
This is a good project on a wet day. The instructions need to be a little bit clearer as i had a couple of fixings left at the end, and they were not extra bits. after a review of the build it works fine.

Nice activity.
My two grandsons aged 6 yrs and 10 yrs loved them, I bought them as a treat and they were kept busy for a couple of hours assembling them.

"This is a cool robot! " according to my 8 year old
"This is a cool robot!" according to my 8 year old. He wants to be an engineer in the future and is very attentive to detail, so had no problem assembling this without adult help (he builds big lego sets himself just working from the instructions). A child who's less intense might need adult help with this. Other reviews of this toy have said it's quite fragile, but it's been fine for us so far (three weeks built and still working well), you do have to handle it carefully though - no chucking it in the toybox where it will get knocked and bumped. Best of all it's reasonably priced so I'll be happy to buy more of these for his friends' birthdays when they have parties. If you have a child who's impatient and wants to be playing with a toy as soon as the box is opened you might want to choose a ready-made robot.
