Product description If Your Tyres Aren’t Properly Inflated, You are Throwing Money Away and Putting Your Life at Risk!Incorrect tyre pressure is the #1 cause of premature wear on your tyres. Under-inflated tyres can lower petrol mileage by about 0.2% for every 1 psi drop in the average pressure of all tyres. Driving on under-inflated tyres is also dangerous. If tyre pressure is too low, too much of the tyre's surface area touches the road and increases friction. This can cause the tyres to overheat and leads to premature wear, tread separation and blowouts.Save Money, and Drive Safely with the Most Accurate Tyre Pressure Gauge on the Market!Dan's Auto has designed this analog tyre pressure gauge to be the most accurate and easy to use gauge on the market. It has been tested and certified to meet all ANSI standards. It reads tyre pressure accurately up to 60 PSI and displays tyre pressure on an easy to read 6.35 cm analog face. The 43 cm hose makes it easy to reach the valve on just about any car, SUV, or motorbike tyre. When you check your tyre pressure, the needle stays in place after the gauge has been removed from the valve. To reset the needle, press the bleeder valve located below the gauge. The gauge is also filled with glycerol to protect the gauge from corrosion and moisture. This ensures your tyre pressure gauge will continue to give you accurate results for decades.Buy With Confidence - Backed by a Lifetime Warranty with a 1 Year Money Back GuaranteeYour Dan's Auto tyre pressure gauge comes backed by 1 year money back satisfaction guarantee and lifetime warranty (subject to registration). Five Stars All Round
I have read the previous 5-star reviews and can only say that I fully agree with them - so I won't repeat them again here.I had a problem with the brass ball chuck which was rapidly picked up by the CEO, Dan Connolly, and who then brought in his dad, Harry, for technical support - beat that for customer service! I received a replacement chuck within days and this saved all the hassle of (mistakenly) returning the whole unit and then re-ordering.Two chucks are supplied with the gauge; one is a steel angle-type and the other a brass ball-type. The chucks work in different ways. When measuring pressure, the angle chuck seals when the rim of the valve stem (the bit you fit the dust cap to) presses on the rubber seal inside the chuck. The valve core is opened by a fixed 'pin' in the centre of the chuck.By design the ball chuck has a freely-moving 'pin' which also opens the valve core when measuring pressure. But, in order to do this, you need to press the chuck quite firmly so that the valve stem actually goes inside the rubber seal. The 'pin' will then centre itself inside the valve stem.(It should be ok as supplied but slight adjustment of the circular nut on the face of the chuck may be necessary).Summary: Brilliant customer service , brilliant product.

I've been buying cheap gauges from Halfords and the like for ages and they inevitably fail and read inaccurately
I've been buying cheap gauges from Halfords and the like for ages and they inevitably fail and read inaccurately. This gauge has a reliably heavy feel about it and the construction looks and feels quality. Instructions are basic although you get a pdf sent to you from the company explaining the importance of correct tyre pressures. It comes with two attachments, I had to swap mine before I could get a decent seal on my valves. The head is filled with glycerine apparently to prevent fogging of the gauge face you might find you need to rotate the head till you get the bubble away from your required pressure before you can easily read the pressure, it might have been better with more liquid and therefore a smaller bubble... The gauge holds the pressure each time and there is a button which releases this for the next test, you can also use this to bleed air if the tyre is overinflated. Overall feels like a quality product and have high hopes that it will be the last tyre pressure gauge I ever buy.. By the way the literature that comes with the gauge shows it on a bracket to store it on a wall etc, this does not come with the gauge although following correspondence with Dan's Auto, which I have to say has been excellent, may become available at a later date.

Excellent quality gauge
This gauge is very well made and easy to use, you are getting a very high quality product with guaranteed accuracy for a reasonable price. Much thought has gone into it's design and loved the glycol filled dial that gently gives you the pressure reading with no bouncing, also the handy button that allows you to release excess pressure whilst still connected to the tyre valve.

Quality gauge but no easy fit for motorcycle tyres
A good quality tyre pressure gauge which comes with 2 adapters.Unfortunately neither adapter makes it easy to check the tyre pressure on a motorcycle hence only 4 stars. Why can't someone come up with an adapter that caters for motorcycle tyres with disk brakes?

Fantastic
Although this gauge is slightly more expensive than some it is very accurate and so easy to use. Having tried many this one is certainly worth it. Wish I had purchased first of all, would have save me a lot of money and time.
