Can I get a replacement handle?

Unfortunately a replacement handle is not possible due to health and safety. However your product may be under warranty dependent on when/where you purchased this. I would advise you to contact Amazon.co.uk customer services first to arrange a replacement product/refund. Would the 6.5 lb splitter be overkill to reduce the size of some delivered logs that are too large?

It is a decent splitting maul that chops all sizes of wood. The last thing you would want would be a tool that was not up to the job. I would recommend it.

I have just received my new spear and jackson maul, but there is some play/movement between the axe head and handle. Is this expected or ok to use?
