Comfortable socks for boots
Very cozy and thick wool socks. I use these primarily for my Thursday captain boots. They add enough thickness to ensure a good fit while wearing the boots.

On the thick side but perfect for boots
My husband wears carhartt socks for work and although this is not the same inside material/thickness of the socks he loved before, he said it did the job as it should for boots. He asked me to reorder it again.I took one star out as it is not the same material with the previous boot socks. But my husband likes it and he wears it all season
