I recently used the Light Riser, and I’m really happy with it. The clear acrylic design doesn’t take away from the look of my tank, which is a big plus. It’s easy to install, and the precisely cut threads for the bolts made attaching the light a breeze. The adjustable height is perfect for getting the right lighting coverage. I also love that it has slots for cable management on all sides, keeping things neat and organized. The light spreads evenly, and overall, it’s a simple, functional, and sleek solution for aquarium lighting.

I like the height adjustability of this but how well this works for you really depends on the light you’re putting on it and overall set up. It is slightly flimsy and takes up a decent chunk of real estate around the edges of my 20g long aquarium. Definitely recommend measuring the light you’ll be putting on it and the type of brackets (it may or may not have) first. I like the fact that it can be used for both rimmed and rimless tanks. I do wish the base of these were slightly lower or had the ability to have my light just a little lower, but it does what it says it does so can’t complain too much.

Interesting product. This is made out of plastic, but not the cheap kind - so its very nicely built. It is meant for aquariums without a lid, to raise the light very high. The only downside is that it does not work on aquariums with a lid. Overall, I highly recommend this product. I really liked the quality.

I like that the clear plastic it isn't distracting from the over-all look of the tank. I want the plants growing out of the top to be the focal point, not the light holder. It is very easy to adjust, the knob is large enough to comfortably turn to raise/lower the holder and my LED light fit perfectly.

arrived broken, was easily glued back together, and then both pieces just fell apart after a month, leaving my light submerged for hours when I wasn't home. flimsy, cheap, NOT worth the money

I love the idea of these and even ordered a second pair. Problem is, they crack over time, especially if you make it too tight. The plastic should be either thicker, made better or something to prevent that. I glued a set back together and they still work, so, still good?
