Absolutely the best pet fountain I have purchased. I have tried 4 other models, all top Amazon sellers and none come close to how much I love this one. It is completely silent which is nice, but for me the value is in how EASY TO CLEAN it is!! The base that plugs into the wall is separate from the well and fountain, so the well lifts right off the base without requiring you to unplug and drag the power cord with you to the sink. Every other cat fountain I have tried uses a pump that is fully submerged in the water and harbors bacteria like crazy - They take forever to clean and take apart + have so many tiny crevices and cracks that fill up with that pink slime. Whoever came up with THIS design is a genius. The app is kinda cool too, I’m not sure how accurate the water intake tracking is in oz, but it’s nice to get notifications that my cats are in fact drinking water. It notifies you when the water levels are too low and reminds you to clean and replace the filter too! The small propeller in the bottom of the well comes out too allowing you to fully clean every crevice, so don’t dump it down the sink like I did when I first cleaned this fountain! It will not work without this piece.

Very easy to clean. Quiet I love this water fountain & so does my fussy cat. I was leary about spending so much money on this fountain. Our cat is scared of his own shadow & very hard to please. He took to it immediately and continues good water consumption. Cleaning is very easy & most of all the container is not have a slimy residue when it’s time to clean. I clean it once a week & change the filter every two weeks. So far we have had it for a month an out cat loves it.

Works great. Easy to clean. Convenient to refill. The app is easy to use. The app is informative and notifies about low water level or the need of cleaning. One thing is I would love to have a critical and loud alert when the water is all gone, in case I forgot. At the moment when the water is gone it just stops. It would be nice if the device could beep when it detects no flow, and the app notification would be loud as well

It does the job. The first week I had it, it completely glitched and said my cat was drinking water (when they weren’t) and drinking an insane amount. One notification said she drank for 15 minutes straight, obviously that’s not correct. Since then, it now sends me a notification every night saying that there’s a significant change in my cats water intake. Duh. Aside from that, it does what it’s supposed to do. The fountain is good and it’s very easy to set up and clean, it gives you step by step instructions which is nice. My cats seem to enjoy it. I would recommend skipping this one and saving $15 to get the one that doesn’t connect to an app.

Have had this for about a week. So far so good. Got the cheaper one first and it had a few problems so I returned. This one was much easier to put together including the wifi. I didn't buy the wifi bells and whistles but it doe let me know my cats are using it, they actually love it. Wifi also lets me know about water levels. Do wish it went off automatically. Wish this one came in all steel but it was tough getting everything I wanted. I picked this one because I went to a couple of sites that supposedly did hours of research on which cat fountains were best for 2026 and they both rated this #1.

While it is expensive, I have found that this upgraded design, especially compared to other designs, is probably the best this brand has. I've had their discontinued Glacier model and their plain stainless steel one, and this design combines what I loved about the Glacier model while removing the pains of the plain stainless steel one. Pros: * Basically silent fountain. I literally have to stand right next to it to hear it. The flow is very smooth and it's hitting water instead of parts, so it doesn't bother me when I'm listening to the TV or even if it is dead quiet in the house. Most of Pet Libro's fountains are very quite anyway, but this one feels the most quiet. * Little to no calcification issues. I have hard water (probably like most people do) and it is a pain in the butt to deal with hard water calcifying in hard to reach spots. As someone who has own fish tanks, this usually happens because water is drying as evaporation occurs, leaving behind calcium deposits that need to be scrapped off. While a copper brush or sponge does the trick, it still scratches and vinegar soaking only helps so much. This design has the water sitting in a metal tray, but it comes out of a large, easy to clean plastic spout. The water level touching the metal always stays at the same level, while the plastic basin is where the water level will decrease over time. This means that water that could evaporate is only touching plastic parts, which is resistant to holding onto calcium deposits. It was one thing I hated about their plain stainless steel option because it had so many spots for the to occur, but this one doesn't! * Super easy to clean and assemble. Because there is no pump, everything can be taken apart and cleaned. They provide a mini brush, but I can also use my sponge to get most surfaces. There really isn't a lot of spots for bacteria to build up that I can't reach with both options, and if I'm truly concerned I can soak it or machine wash bigger parts. It might seem complex at first, but you get into a rhythm eventually since it recommends cleaning it every two weeks. * Can be left alone majority of the time. I love that I can be a bit lazy with this thanks to the water filter and the size of the tub. With my two cats, I don't really ever need to refill it before it's time to clean it and the water filter allows the water to be clean and safe for two weeks. I know that usually more cats means it gets messier sooner, but my cats are pretty clean and don't add food chunks to the water. If I did see it get messy then I would clean it more often. I've even been able to go on trips and not have to worry about cleaning or refilling the water. Cons: * The app for this is kind of wonky. It will alert me when my cats drink water, but sometimes I feel the amount is wrong. I also have two cats, and it can't really tell me who is drinking more than the other. Being data driven is nice and all, but I just usually use it to let me know if anyone is drinking water, not really who is. I do have to refresh the cleaning and filter change cycle within the app, but it's more of a neat feature trying to be helpful rather than anything meaningful.

I’ve been really happy with the PETLIBRO Upgrade Cat Water Fountain so far. It’s easy to set up, runs quietly, and my cat started using it right away. I like that it keeps the water flowing and fresh, which definitely encourages more drinking. The design is simple and easy to clean, and the water level window is a nice touch so you can quickly see when it needs refilling. The filters do a good job keeping the water clean, but I’ve noticed I prefer to wash the fountain itself a bit before the full two-week filter cycle—usually toward the end of that period just to keep everything extra fresh. Overall, it’s a great fountain that works well and looks nice too. Definitely a solid upgrade from a regular water bowl.

We had the Petlibro app monitoring water fountain and the automatic dry food feeder with camera for a year and a half now. Both products have worked very well for us and our cat. Have been getting their replacement filters for the fountain. From a recent replacement filter package I was shocked to find out that some of the black filters would not fit in the pump. Tried many times but could not figure it out. Called Petlibro Customer Service and the rep explained to me that they have updated the pump to a new design and what i got was a different size filter hence it did not work in the old pump. They would send me a new pump so I can use the new size filters. Very happy with their customer service. They addressed my concern and was very customer focused.

Wir hatten den Trinkbrunnen nun 6 Monate in Gebrauch und leider ist er nun immer wieder undicht und funktioniert nicht mehr richtig. Zunächst war ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Gerät und meine Katze hat auch gerne daraus getrunken. Zudem ist er sehr schwer zu reinigen bzw. setzt sich den Rändern Dreck an, der sich nicht mehr gut entfernen lässt. Das ist sehr schade. Ich würde dieses Produkt nicht noch mal kaufen.
