I Love These Paints
I had been wanting to get this large set of watercolours for well over a year. Suddenly there was a price drop and I snapped up a box. It's over 30 years since I last bought new watercolours. My only experience is Windsor & Newton, which are great paints, but can be dry and can lack pigment punch. I had seen others getting a lot of bright pigment out of these paints.I love them. They are so easy to rewet, they are full of pigment and they come in full pans. The pallet colour choice is good, but they do sell open stock too so can be added to if required. I've seen people complaining about the plastic pallet, but if this were metal the whole thing would cost more and besides, this is a perfectly adequate pallet with many mixing areas and the bottom mixing area is easily removed if space is short or you just want the pallet in a different position to your painting hand.Very pleased with my purchase.

Superior pigment colour
Superior Watercolours. I was brought up and Winsor and Newton , Cotman range and whilst they are reasonable value and very good quality, they lack a little glamour for me. These are full pans of professional artist watercolour and are up there with Sennelier/Schmincke/M. Graham. I did quite a bit of research before buying and looked at a lot of YouTube reviews and demonstrations. These Do not disappoint at all and exceed expectations. I have a couple of other sets on order which am looking forward to getting hold of , but to be honest I cannot imagine that these are going to lose esteem in my view. These would make a fantastic gift for anyone who paints with watercolour and maybe fancies a change.

Surprised by the quality.
I bought the set last year to add to my collection of watercolours and have not used them up to now. They compare very well with the Winsor and Newton artists colours for less than the cost of the Winsor and Newton Cotman colours (their budget range). The colour saturation is very good, as is the smoothness of the gum arabic base makes them a joy to use. In short, these are the real thing, professional grade paints at a budget price. The plastic box they come in is also pretty good with a lift out palette as well as the lid. It looks to be well made (time will tell on that one. Overall I am very happy with the purchase.

Great value and a pleasure to use.
I was delighted with this set. I ordered it to supplement my trusty old 24 pan box that saw me through college many years ago and is still workable and are in use. Although some of the pigments used are fugitive and the paints generally are more opaque than expensive artists brands there are still enough single pigment, lightfast colours to make this great value for money. The colours lift easily, are intense and a pleasure to use. White Nights were my gateway set into watercolour and although I now use them on practice paper to experiment, work out colour combinations and try out brushes and use other artists brands and heavy paper for work I sell, I still like these. You get a huge amount of paint for the cost of half a dozen artists pans (who also use some iffy pigments too ! ) and I recommend them.

Blow your mind
"A really top-quality watercolour set will blow your mind." Thus spoke my art tutor and this set does exactly that. The colours are intense and vibrant and the gum used to harden the pans of colour produces a pleasingly soft block of paint that dissolves easily and needs no irksome scrubbing to get a loaded brush. The materials used to produce these watercolours are not cheap, but this 36 pan set represents outstanding value. I would strongly recommend buying this set if you are in the market for a watercolour set and pretty much regardless of your watercolour ability or experience. If you are an accomplished watercolour artist you will be very satisfied, if you are just starting out then you will not be able to blame your watercolours for the results of your efforts, but equally your progress will not be held back for want of a decent set of colours.

Superb watercolour paints!
I’m just starting out in watercolours having used the Windsor & Newton Coltman colours but never had the deep colours I see in other artists paintings. I nearly went for the Windsor artist quality but overhearing someone in my watercolour class saying how much they liked their White Knights paints I just ordered some and received them today and absolutely delighted with them. So easy to use and not having to stir with a brush for minutes on end to get some paint!. I did read one review where they complained about the pans sticking to the lid when wet and falling out of the box so I stuck them with double sided tape. Highly recommended!.

Rich, vibrant, clean colours
I really liked the colours in this set. Very easy to activate and rich, full of pigment. I also have W&N 24 colour pro set and they work well together. I am fairly new to watercolour and I think both of these sets will serve my needs well for the foreseeable future. I'd recommend it to anyone starting out with watercolour. The same price as W&N (you can get the 24 colour pro set around £40 if wait for discount promos), 12 extra colours and plus they are full pan, ie, double the quantity.
