Cher Fitness - Body Confidence + A New Attitude [DVD] Import

I had both these DVDs on video in the 90s and used to workout to them religiously. I particularly enjoyed the step workout and used to do it 4-5 times a week. Within a couple of months I had dropped several dress sizes and my body - particularly my legs and bum - really slimmed off and became more sculpted. Everyone noticed the difference and that was without dieting either. Cher is great in it and I loved her funky outfits. Kelly Roberts (the trainer) was lovely and I ended up buying another step video by her that was more advanced and also good. I only stopped working out to the Cher videos my video machine broke and they weren't available on DVD. So, I am thrilled to see they are now on DVD and would recommend them to everyone. One thing, I do recall getting bored with the step soundtrack but by then I knew the routine off by heart and so would turn the sound off and play my own music. It kept me motivated and I loved it. I have just ordered the DVDs and can't wait for them to arrive so I can start stepping again.

I had the video versions of these workouts and did them for years until my video finally died. Really pleased when I saw them in a DVD format and ordered them without hesitation. They arrived two days later and I couldnt wait to get started on the Step class. I do other DVD programs such as Insanity, which is good but exhausting, so I am fairly fit. I was a bit worried that I would find step too easy after doing Insanity, but I need not have worried. Step was as challenging as ever, but didnt leave me physically exhausted like Insanity. I was dripping in sweat by the time I had finished the Step class, but really pleased that I had remembered all the sequences! I think Cher Fitness is one of the best Exercise routines around (and I have done a lot of DVDs over the years) for overall fitness and conditioning. I would highly recommend this DVD set.

I had both of these on VHS when they came out. I had been using other exercise tapes but REALLY noticed results when I started using these ones. The fitness instructors are top class, the workouts are very effective and I started seeing amazing results within two weeks of regular use. I never use VHS anymore so jumped at the chance to get these on DVD. The only disappointment is the resistance bands are no longer included with the Body Confidence workout, and you do need them. However, they're easy enough to pick up inexpensively at any high street fitness store. These workouts are worth having. Probably the best I've ever tried.

I have these in VHS format from the '90s, but they are long dead. I haven't done this workout for some years and I cannot wait to get restarted. The menu option allows me to skip the unnecessary chat and go straight to the work-out. This workout is brilliant: there is plenty of variety and clear, uncluttered instruction. Initially, the moves seem very complicated, but regular practice allows you to quickly pick up the sequences. Weight drops off and the classes are also wonderful fun. Having had the 'new attitude' on vhs as a teenager, I purchased these whilst on my keep fit plan and it's as good as I remember! The second dvd, body confidence, is new to me but just as good. They're not great at explaining what to do but you soon get the idea and are burning calories, whilst Cher pouts her way through the routines, in no time. Certainly feel they are good for fitness and weightloss, though I am yet to invest in a spangly Cher-style leotard!! (Health and safety risk these days!)

My complaint is I guess we live in region 1 and the device must be set to region 2. It will not play on my DVD / TV player. Maybe on a computer.. But that will not work for my situation. I was so disappointed I spent quite a bit of money for a DVD that is meant for a different part of the world. Who knew?

I had these work outs on video and of course they became obselete. I tried other DVD's but for me they werent as good as the CHER ones. I was delighted when I found them online. The outfits are a bit dated and the DVD quality isnt quite as good as newer DVD's but the content is great. It covers eveything and is very tough. The workouts also alow you to increase intensity as you improve so that you dont have to buy other DVD's.

Had this on video when it first came out years ago and was really happy to find it out again on DVD. It's a fun exercise routine, giving you 4 different levels of workout depending on your fitness, the music is motivational as is the instructor and Cher brings her own element of fun and wit! If you like Cher's music and want a good workout then I would definately recommend both of Cher's exercise DVD's!

Unless you live in Europe or another country, do not buy this DVD it does not work on players made for Canada/US and if you're tech savvy can make your dvd player Region Free. I initially was excited to finally track this down. Had the video years ago and loved it. Sorely disappointed when tried to use it. DVD bought abroad and this came from France are not playable formatting and region (as mentioned above) is different. Had I done a bit more research could have saved myself a lot of money and frustration. If you want to do the videos go to Youtube you'll find the exact same one there, free.

Cher a été assez intelligente et modeste pour ne pas faire cours elle-même. Le DVD est un petit condensé très bien fait de cours de gym en commun dispensé par des professeurs différents mais tous très bien formés. L'artiste se montre en train de souffrir comme chacune d'entre nous avec apparemment un groupe de danseuses et on a l'impression d'être en cours avec elles.

en première partie un cours de danse et après un cours avec un élastiqueje préfère le premier DVD qui est plus efficace

Very disappointed and will not order again as the VCR does not work despite trying it several times. Thought it might have been the player but it works fine with my other workout VCRs purchased from a Canadian outlet. If I had saved the paperwork from the purchase from Amazon, I would have returned it but as this was my very first time using Amazon at the recommendation of a friend, I never gave it a secind thought that the VCR would be defective.
