Small but mighty bench block kit. I use this bench block and hammer kit almost every day for my handmade jewelry, and it really works well. I love the smaller size because it doesn’t take up much space, but still feels super sturdy. The hammer is great for shaping, flattening, and adding texture to copper pieces. I use it with the steel bench block when I’m working on wire and metal components. Simple, practical, and easy to keep nearby. Great little kit for jewelry makers. Recommend.

I bought this because I'm really starting to get into working with copper. It's a nice, sturdy set, and seems to be perfect for what I need!

Works very well but the hammer leaves dents in the anvil even when I tap lightly.

Bench block is 3 inches across and is weighty with hard surface on top and hard cushioned bottom surface, well constructed. Metal stamping hammer is weighty on head end with cushioned hand grip which will not slip while using hammer and about 5 inches in length. I found both work well during jewelry making process. All in all, a great value for a very durable product.

This block and hammer are small, easily put away along with my stamping tools for use later. It’s small, rather heavy; it does exactly what I needed to do in creating metal identification tags for my roses as they are mature and at time of propagation. My grand darlings also have a great fun creating their own necklaces, bracelets and other ID materials with my stamping kit. It is incredibly safe because the only danger is hitting one’s own fingers or smashing interfering fingers. Since there’s no electricity or sharp blades to worry about this is a relatively safe hobby. If I had known that I would enjoy using this type of creative outlet I would’ve bought one years ago.
