So I bought a car where the previous owner had removed the entire exhaust including the catalytic convertor. Some young guys like all that noise but I like listening to the radio, so I had to put all that stuff back. Rather than spend money on welding, I bolted the new muffler in place and bought this set of exhaust clamps. The main thing is to pay attention to the diameter of the pipes; this is a set of clamps which implies that they can be tightened but there is a range involved, so buy the clamps that are closest to the diameter of what you are working with. What I did was I cut the pipes, lined them up, wrapped them with some metal exhaust tape, then bolted it all in place with this clamp. Nice and quiet!

True to size 3.5" tight fitting. Used to cover a hole where the prior welded on bracket had no vibration protection, and had torn a 3/4"X 2 1/4" strip out of the pipe. The 3" width just covered it , and the 3.5" diameter tightly sealed the leak great. Due to the Texas heat and a busy schedule the local exhaust shop was behind schedule and full, on two occasions. This is servingthe purpose great until a more permanent fix can be made. Heavy duty and made from good quality materials, with a nice fit and finish. Also attached a bolt on hanger to one bolt to support exhaust from original factory bushing. Working perfectly again.

Lots of choices online but these seem to be the best priced ones around for a pair of two. Stainless steel makes it outlast the rest of the exhaust system.

The clamps look good and seem to be well made, but they were not a full 3.5 inches in diameter; hence, they did not work on my exhaust.
