Does exactly what it says on the tin.
This makes changing pads, bleeding brakes and general set up of hydraulic brakes a doddle. In the Park Tool instructions it states to push the pistons back in while the old pads are still fitted, then change the pads. I have modified my press slightly and fitted some blue heat shrink over the blade so I can use it on any pads and not have to replace them afterwards. Blue heat shrink to match the Park Tool blue theme. All in all, an excellent tool, you could use a plastic tyre lever, but this is so much more effective and gives more leverage.

Excellent i bought this not too do bike calipers but to my car . Being able to pry the brake pads away from the disc was brilliant , which ment i didn't have to remove the complete front caliper. The way it's sloped with the back you have a piece About 5 mm which you can tap with a small hammer to help free the pads

Dachte erst man braucht das nicht, aber dann…
Super Tool und wenn man es mal hat will man nicht mehr zurück. Hab seit 20 Jahren mit Schraubenzieher etc. rumgehebelt, geht auch aber damit kommt man viel besser ran, kann viel kontrollierter und gefühlvoller arbeiten. Möchte es nicht mehr missen, liegt dazu gut in der Hand und sieht schick aus.
